It’s as if store after store after store, all have unusual control component settings. By the time Abel is done shopping, his body doesn’t know if it’s supposed to be cool from the air conditioner, or boiling from the sweltering heat of the sun. Abel often wishes that stores followed a universal control component setting. He’d be aware what kind of temperatures he was walking into regardless of what store he was entering. It’s similar to knowing what kind of temperature Abel was going to experience when going outside. He is aware that if he was talking about small mom-and-pop shops, no one could force them to change the settings on the control unit. Abel is talking about the bigger stores in the malls. Although the main area may be comfortable, the stores all have their idea of where the control component should be set. Abel is sure that corporations have their ideas of control component settings to save money. The issue arises when their control component settings clash with those of the mall’s thoroughfare. Their control component could be fighting that of the mall. While trying to maintain a constant temperature, the control component is either working to heat or cool to what is in the thoroughfare.

I’m sure that corporations have their ideas of thermostat settings in an effort to save money. The problem is when their thermostat settings clash with those of the mall’s thoroughfare. Their thermostat could be warring with that of the mall. While trying to maintain a constant temperature, the thermostat is either trying to heat or cool to what is in the thoroughfare.

My grandpa is a stickler on the rules of etiquette for ladies.

Whenever I’m walking across the yard, he tells me to straighten up my head and stop looking for Nichols.

If I’m not sitting on the edge of my seat with my back straight, grandpa pushes me physically to the front of the seat and says to sit up straight. The other afternoon I was sitting outside slumped over, and grandpa told me to sit up straight. I replied that it was too hot, and I was covered in sweat. That wasn’t the time to think about posture. Grandpa responded that ladies perspire, and animals sweat. I got miserable. I told him that if he had a working cooling system in the farmhouse, I would not have to worry about being covered in sweat or perspiring. I’d just turn up the temperature control and be comfortable like all my friends. Grandpa proceeded to tell me how ungrateful I was for everything I had and I needed to start being a respectful young lady. I have no idea how my grandfather always holds his composure, despite the fact that he did. I knew how much easier it would be to hold my composure and posture, if mom had the cooling system repaired. The cooling system broke down, but since mom didn’t have the money to make the repairs instantly, I was going without AC. I can only hope that mom gets paid and has the cooling system fixed before I’m old enough to move out to my own place.

Tim and Joy told them that if they had really working air conditioning in the house, none of them would have to worry about dripping with sweat or perspiring. They could just turn up the thermostat and be happy like their friends. Their parents proceeded to tell them how ungrateful they were for everything they had and they needed to start being respectful young people. Tim and Joy have no clue how their parents always held their composure, but they did. Her aunt proceeded to say how ungrateful Gill was for everything she had and that Gill needed to start being a respectful young lady. Some nights are too hot to rest so I sneak out of the house and go swimming.

The cool water in the pool always brings my temperature down enough that I can relax. There is air conditioning in our home, however my room was an add-on to this property. With it being an addition, I never quite get the regular amount of air conditioning or heating in my room. Since the pool is right outside of my room, I feel safe going out and slipping into the cool water on those sultry nights when I wish I had nice air conditioning. Every summer season, I speak to mom and dad about having a separate Heating and A/C plan installed into my room suite. They put it off for a couple of weeks, the extreme heat of summer season passes, and the Heating plus A/C plan matter is forgotten. This year, I didn’t want to go out and get into the pool. The sidewalk was boiling on my feet and getting out of the pool cooled then running into a boiling humid room, didn’t make me happy at all. Instead, I woke my parents up and told them I was calling the Heating and A/C dealer the next day. I wasn’t going to go another day without nice air conditioning in my room. Their tired reply was to ask me if I wanted to move into a spare room where the air conditioning worked better? I shook them awake and said that would be nice for tonight. However, it would be the only night I’d be moving out of the room because of lack of air conditioning.

There is a HVAC system in the beach house, however Diana’s bedroom was an add-on to the house. This is why Diana never quite gets the proper amount of air conditioning or heating into her room. Since the ocean is right next to the beach house, Diana felt safe slipping out to go for a dip in the ocean on those hot sultry nights when she wished she had a good air conditioner. Every Summer her dad would talk about installing a separate HVAC system in Diana’s room. This would go on for a couple of weeks, the severe heat of Summer passes, and the new HVAC system never came to be. This year, Diana didn’t want to go out and get into the ocean. The sidewalk was hot on her feet and getting out of the pool cooled then running into a hot humid room, didn’t make Diana feel much better. Instead, she woke her dad and told him she was contracting the HVAC company the next morning. She was not going to spend any more time without a good air conditioner in her room. Her dad’s sleepy reply was to ask Diana if she wanted to move to one of the other rooms where the air conditioner worked better? Diana shook him awake and explained that she would be good for that night. But, an HVAC technician had to come to the beach house to offer a lasting solution.

Mom’s exhausted reply was to ask us if we wanted to move out into the living room or into one of the other bedrooms where the a/c worked better? We shook her awake and said that we would do so for one night. But, we’d still contact the Heating, Ventilation and AC corporation the following morning.
