There are some evenings where it is so tepid to sleep that we sneak out of the condo & go swimming. The cool water in the pool often brings our temperature down enough that we can be comfortable. We have a cooling system in our home, but our room was an add-on to the condo. As a result, we have never quite got the proper amount of a/c or heating into our room. Since we have a community pool in the building, we felt safe going out and slipping into the cool water on those tepid sultry evenings when we wished we had a reliable cooling system. Every Summer we all sit down and chat about having a separate Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan installed into our room suite. Our mom puts it off for some time, the extreme heat of Summer passes, and the current Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan is ignored. This year, we didn’t want to go out and get into the pool. The sidewalk was tepid on our feet and getting out of the pool then running into a tepid humid room didn’t make us feel much better. Instead, we woke mom up and told her we were calling the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation the next day. We weren’t going to go one more day without enjoyable a/c in our room. Mom’s exhausted reply was to ask us if we wanted to move out into the living room or into one of the other bedrooms where the a/c worked better? We shook her awake and said that we would do so for one night. But, we’d still contact the Heating, Ventilation and AC corporation the following morning.
