Some days are so hot to sleep that Chris sneaks out of the house and goes swimming.

The cool water in the pool always brings his temperature down enough that Chris can be comfortable.

There is AC in the house, however his room was an add-on to the house. With it being an addition, Chris never quite got the correct amount of air conditioning or heating into his room. Since the lake was right next to the house, Chris felt safe going out and slipping into the cool water on those sizzling sultry days when he wished he had fine air conditioning. Every summer time Chris and his parents would sit down and chat about having a separate Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system installed into his room suite. His parents put it off for a couple of weeks, the extreme heat of summer time passes, and the modern Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system is forgotten. This year, Chris had no intention of going out and getting into the lake. The sidewalk was sizzling on his feet and getting out of the lake meant running into a sizzling humid room. This did not make Chris feel much better. Instead, he woke his parents up and told them he was calling the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business the next day. Chris was not going to go one more day without air conditioning in his family room. Their tired reply was to ask Chris if he wanted to move out into the next room or into one of the other family rooms where the air conditioning worked better? Chris shook them awake and told his parents that would be fine for that night. However, it would be the only night he would be moving out of his room because of lack of air conditioning.

His sleepy reply was to ask me if I wanted to move out into the living room or into one of the other bedrooms where the air conditioning worked better? I shook him awake and told him that would be good for tonight, but it would be the only night I would be moving out of my bedroom because of lack of air conditioning.

She had rented a camper that sleeps six, so my friends and I would be comfortable.

Mom said she was guaranteed that the camper would have a cooling unit, heating system, and a full shower. But, she wasn’t assured that the cooling and heating systems would work. My friends and I wished mom had acquired that guarantee from the rental company before she went and picked up the camper. She had no clue how hot it was going to get inside the camper until we parked the first night. Mom went through all the steps on the guide to get the cooling unit now working, but this was no use. Mom once more pulled out the guidelines on how to turn the unit on, and followed them to a T. But, the cooling unit wasn’t responsive. My friends and I were miserable because it was hot where we were sleeping and it was uncomfortable where mom was sleeping. Mom kept saying that she could make the beds comfortable, but there wasn’t anything she could do about the lack of AC until the next day. Although we were 15 years old, my friends and I were not in the mood to understand anything. We made mom feel so bad that she was ready to turn around and go back home. Instead, mom demanded that we quit complaining and if we were nice for just thirty minutes, she would take us to a hotel for the night.

He had no clue how tepid it was going to get inside the camper until Bill and his girlfriend parked the first night. Bill once again pulled out the instructions on how to turn the HVAC unit on, and followed them to a T. Still, he didn’t have any air conditioning, and his girlfriend was miserable because it was tepid where they were sleeping and the rest of the camper. Bill explained to her that he could make the beds comfortable, however there wasn’t anything he could do about the lack of air conditioner until the next day. Bill’s girlfriend was not in the mood to understand anything. She had Bill so miserable that he was ready to turn around and go back home. Instead, he told his girlfriend to quit complaining and if she was nice for just 20 minutes, Bill would take her to a hotel for the night.

Ben and Bianca were guaranteed that the camper would have a/c, heating, and a full shower. However, the rental company didn’t assure them that the a/c and heating would be working. Ben and Bianca wished they had an assurance from the rental contractor before they went and picked up the camper. They had no clue how hot it was going to get inside the camper until they parked the first evening. Ben went through all the steps necessary to get the a/c unit working, however it never started cooling the camper. Bianca once again pulled out the instruction on how to turn the a/c unit on, and followed thoroughly. Unfortunately, they still didn’t have any a/c. Their friends were irritated because it was hot where they were sleeping and it was uncomfortable where they were sleeping. Ben and Bianca explained to them that they could make the beds comfortable, however there wasn’t anything they could do about the lack of a/c until the next morning. I was unaware how tepid it was going to get inside the camper until I parked the first night. I went through all the steps that needed to be taken to get the cooling system component operational however it never turned on. I once again retrieved the instructions on how to turn the cooling system component on, and followed them to a T. But unluckily, I still didn’t have any cooling. My night was miserable because it was tepid where I was sleeping and so was the rest of the camper van. I tried to find ways to make the beds comfortable, however there wasn’t anything I could do about the lack of cooling system until the next day. Although I’m an adult, I was in such a foul mood the next day. Being so miserable meant that I was ready to turn around and go back home. Instead, I pulled myself together, quit complaining and went to find a hotel for the night.

When I started going to the local gym with my best friend, she kept trying to convince me to use a sauna.

• She told me her pores and never looked better than since she had been using the sauna.

She felt more relaxed when she used the sauna after a long session of spinning. I try not to make a decision either way, because I never really liked the sauna, but she was pushing. My first and only experience with a sauna was when I was pregnant. My sister asked me to go with her, and I didn’t yet know I was pregnant. We walked into the sonnet and spent eight minutes in the hot humid air. After opening the door and walking out, I only took two steps before I fell onto the floor. If it hadn’t been for someone from the emergency response team being there, I’m not sure what would have happened. They gave me fluids and sat with me until I was able to get up on my own. The entire time my best friend was trying to convince me to get into the sauna with her, I was thinking about that experience of my sister. I could still remember the feeling I had right before I went down, and if it hadn’t been for my sister, I probably would’ve busted my head on the concrete floor. Luckily, I came to my senses and told my girlfriend that I would not be using the sauna, and told her about my experience.She apologized for trying to push me into the sauna, and said if I just opened my mouth sooner she wouldn’t have been as persistent.

Personal Physical Training

Whenever I go to physical therapy, I’d like to use the showers in the locker room when I am done with my workout.

I go directly from physical therapy to work, and I don’t feel comfortable not having had a shower.

Last week, I was heading into the showers and a stench hit me even before I was inside the door. I couldn’t believe the smell that was coming out of that locker room, and I went to the front desk. The secretary looked at me oddly when I told her how badly the locker room reeked. I tried to explain that it was a mixture of dead fish and locker socks. She turned around and picked up the phone, and I assumed she was calling the janitor. I would like to hope that they would quickly clean the locker room and get rid of that smell. Unfortunately, I heard her chuckling With someone on the phone, as she explained about the locker room. When she hung up, I asked her if that was the janitor? She said no she was just talking to one of her coworkers who wasn’t going to believe this. I was a bit perturbed thinking that she wouldn’t call the janitor first and the coworker second, but I wasn’t her boss. I walked back into the physical therapy room, and told the therapist about the locker room. She said she had just talked to the secretary and told her that she would take responsibility for calling the janitor to get rid of the odor. She had noticed it when I opened the door to the locker room.

I knew there was a gymnasium in the building where I worked.

Everyone who worked in the building, received free passes to join the gym.

Being overweight made me uncomfortable around my coworkers. Most of my female coworkers were svelte and beautiful. I was anything but. In the terms of the doctor, I was obese, and I had average looks. There was no way I was going to put on exercise clothes and try to work out with those women at the corporate gym. I would have been mortified. I chose to go to the local gym. It may not have had the sophistication of a corporate gym, or all of the fancy workout equipment of a corporate gym, but I was okay with that. I also didn’t need to wear tight leotards that showed my every roll. Going to the local gym left me with the ability to wear stretch pants and T-shirts without looking frumpy. If I wanted to use the pool, I could wear my cover-up bathing suit and not feel out of place. I worked out after work, and no one was aware. I didn’t need people to watch me working out and then titter about all the weight I wasn’t losing. Everyone at the local gym cheered me on when they noticed the strides I had taken. Even after I lost 45 pounds, I refused to go to the corporation gym. No one at work noticed the change that was happening with my body. Why would I go to the corporate gym when I can continue going to my local gym?
