I decided to get a puppy without really knowing a lot about dogs.

I had somebody recommend a certain type of puppy chow and the other necessary things.

I needed a doggy bed, puppy pads, and dishes for food and water. Also, I learned that dogs like to chew on stuff, so if you don’t supply them with chew toys, they will chew on other things in your home that they should not be chewing on, like the legs of your kitchen table! Well, since we have hardwood floors in our home, I decided I didn’t want the dog peeing and pooping on those floors, so I kept the puppy gated in the kitchen until he was completely potty trained. It was a long and frustrating process for sure. I also felt bad because I thought maybe the pup was too cold in the kitchen area. I mean he had his dog bed, so I thought maybe that would be enough, but I ended up giving him a blanket. For many nights he would whine because he wanted to cuddle up, but still he had too many accidents for me to let him roam free in the house. When I had some friends over, they told me I was doing the process wrong. They said the dog had to be properly punished for pooping or peeing on the floor. I had to apparently shove the dog’s nose in the poop or pee so he would learn not to do that again. I didn’t like doing that, but it actually was effective. I also had a ductless mini split HVAC installed for zones in the kitchen, living room and my bedroom. I wanted the dog to be extra cozy in the kitchen with a new HVAC. My buddies thought I was crazy for doing that for my dog, but I did it for me too!

Things are really getting crazy with these gas prices getting out of control.

I mean honestly, I have had issues with delivery drivers and even uber drivers. I had a delivery driver ask if he could have more money for a tip because of the high cost of gas. I thought that was bizarre, but I gave him a few extra bucks. I’m sure that doesn’t work with everybody though, but I genuinely felt bad for the guy. Then one night when I was coming home from a dance club, I was too wasted to drive so I called an uber. The uber driver gave me an issue when I asked if he could crank up the AC system. He said that it costs fuel to use the AC system and I better pay more money if I wanted that extra air conditioning. I argued with him for a little bit but he told me that it was hard enough to actually make a living as a driver with the outrageous gas prices that keep going up like crazy, when he drives for a living. He started to make sense and I realized that he was right, all his money was going into gas and that was really fair, especially with passengers like me who wanted greater comfort with the use of the cooling system. I gave him some extra money and when I was back home, I called up some of my buddies to come over. They all thought it was crazy everybody was asking for more money, but what else could they do if they wanted to keep earning enough money to get by?

Still, I was desperate and told him I would buy something if he had a look at my cooling system.

It was crazy when we had a heatwave recently. The cooling system was struggling badly so I called the HVAC company. Unfortunately they told me they couldn’t send out an HVAC expert for a few days because they were backed up with a lot of repair appointments for air conditioners. When I asked them what I was going to do about my struggling AC system until then, they suggested that I try supplementing the central cooling system with window AC units or portable AC systems. As I was getting ready to go out to the store to see what they had in the way of cooling products, I was surprised when an HVAC guy came to my door. He had an HVAC van and everything and I asked him if he was there for the cooling system repair. He laughed and told me no, he was there to talk to me about different HVAC upgrades I might be interested in. Still, I was desperate and told him I would buy something if he had a look at my cooling system. He was a certified expert, so he knew what he was doing. He helped me get my AC system working properly, but he unfortunately had to charge me for the service. I still bought a couple of UV air purifiers from him though so that I could improve my air quality in the house. I actually was really happy he came out because I don’t think I could have gone a few more days feeling miserable in my home without a properly working central cooling system.

When I was a youngster, I lived in the desert with my parents.

The heat sometimes would be entirely unbearable and it was extremely dry.

I couldn’t use enough chapstick and it was difficult. The air quality would sometimes be affected too if there was a sandstorm, and that happens a lot where I used to live. I remember thinking it would be great if there was something like a dome that covered the whole city, so people didn’t have to worry about such things. I thought it would be nice to have extra protection from the sun rays which provided unwanted heating in our homes. I didn’t realize it back then that I was actually on to something. While we don’t have huge dome structures to block out unwanted heating from the sun, there are things we can do. We can use blockout curtains to prevent the sun rays piercing through our windows and causing heating that way. We can also plant trees around our homes for additional shade and protection from the heat of the sun. Of course, I ended up moving to a place that is not so overheated and dry, but throughout the different seasons, you still need the comfort from the HVAC system. I actually have a smart HVAC system now with a smart thermostat. I have smart curtains that automatically close to save energy and it’s always comfortable in my home. I wish we would have had such a nice HVAC system back in the day when I lived with my parents. I have talked to them about investing in HVAC components like that, but they don’t want to spend too much money.

I always know when it’s that time of month for my wife because her internal temperature control goes out of whack.

She experiences hot and cold flashes or something which I always thought was crazy.

One moment, she is feeling just fine with normal temperature control settings, and then she goes flying to the thermostat to crank up the cooling system. There are times even in the hot season when she will crank up the heating system! I have tried to tell her not to do that, but it doesn’t matter what I say, there is no stopping her. Fortunately, I was able to find a solution to this problem in the form of HVAC zone control. I learned from the local HVAC company that our HVAC system could be upgraded to work with different zones for customized temperature control settings. These days, I have all the rooms in the house with customized temperature control settings and all my wife has to do is go to another room to have the temperature control settings she prefers without affecting anybody else in the house. It was always difficult at random times in the past. I remember watching a football game with my buddies and suddenly the house became freezing, and then it became overheated about 20 minutes after that. My buddies thought it was crazy, but I just told them that’s how it goes with my wife. With the HVAC zone control, everybody is comfortable, and my whole family definitely deserves to have that kind of comfort without causing a spike in the energy bills.

My grandfather unfortunately has Alzheimer’s disease.

• Only a few years ago he seemed sharp as a tack, but things have gotten pretty bad.

He used to change his air filters regularly and clean out his HVAC system components. He was a successful HVAC expert in his time and he never wanted to have his HVAC serviced by anybody but himself. Unfortunately, after a short time with this disease, his memory is now shot. He has trouble even recognizing me from time to time and I have to help him job his memory. It really bothers me because eventually, he’s going to think I’m an actual intruder in his home and he might go running for his rifle. Fortunately, I know exactly where his gun cabinet is and he takes awhile to get it unlocked. Lately, I have been going to visit him all the time and I have been changing his air filters and making sure the HVAC expert works on his HVAC system. Whenever I do this, he always yells at the poor guy saying he’ll take care of it or he already did the HVAC maintenance when it was obvious the HVAC was not tuned up. It’s becoming more troublesome and I hate to say this but we might have to place him in a nursing home if things get any worse. I just think about all the things that can go wrong. He might think the HVAC pro is an intruder, grab his guns and shoot the guy while he’s just there to repair the HVAC system.

You know, before I decided to go looking for the best heating system, I didn’t know a thing about radiant heated floors. I didn’t even know this style of heating system existed, but I learned from looking on a particular HVAC blog website where people were raving about this type of heating system. They were saying all kinds of amazing things like how cozy this heating system was, how much they saved on their energy bills, and how this heating system provided the perfect amount of even heating. The even heating thing was impressive to me and how people said they didn’t experience frigid drafts in their homes with this heating system. The only negative thing I noticed about this particular heating system is the fact that it was costly to have installed. It made sense though because the floors had to be lifted up so that the pipes could be installed, and that’s a lot of work for sure. I was so happy to start living in my own apartment when I was starting college. There was one issue though and that was the HVAC system, or lack thereof. There was a heating system that worked alright, but there was no cooling system to speak of. This made life pretty difficult when we got into the summer months and I realized that I needed some cooling relief or I was going to lose it. I looked into different cooling products online and stumbled across a lot of awesome cooling devices. They even had cooling hats which was interesting and I thought I might go for something like that down the road. What really caught my eye though was a smart window AC unit. This particular window AC unit was equipped with a smart thermostat which would not only save big on the energy bills, but I could control it remotely with my phone! I can’t tell you how wonderful it was when I was studying to be able to tap on my phone a few times to adjust the temperature control as needed. Of course, I could only afford one window AC unit because they were kind of costly, but it was worth the investment. If I had guests over, I had to crank my window AC unit and keep my bedroom door open so that the cooling would flow into the living room and kitchen area. It was a small apartment so I was able to make this work out, but in a larger place it would be impossible for that window AC unit to keep the place cool, only a good sized room at best.

After last summer, I came to realize that I had to look into some quality cooling products.

Our cooling system was struggling really badly and we almost didn’t make it through the heat waves we experienced.

I was certain the cooling system was going to die, but fortunate it was able to pull through. I mean we had received regular HVAC system maintenance over the years, but I guess our cooling system is reaching the end of its life. So throughout the winter, I was looking at numerous different cooling products. There was one particular cooling system that really caught my eye, and that was the ductless multiple split air conditioner. With such an AC system, you can have different zones in your home, to cover the cooling for the entire home. This particular cooling system also was hooked up with air purification, including the UV light to take care of dangerous pathogens that can easily spread around. So in the spring season, I reached out to our local HVAC corporation to talk about this installation of this particular cooling system. I was happy to learn that they were having a special on their ductless multi split air conditioners which was great! By the time we got into the summer season, we were absolutely blissful thanks to the ductless multi split air conditioner. Seriously, this cooling system is amazing thanks to the customized temperature control in all the different areas. You no longer have to provide cooling to the whole house, you can have it set only in certain rooms like the kitchen or the living room or even the bedrooms!

Let’s face it, nobody wants to be in a muggy environment. This has been the case at our workplace for the past few weeks. The complaints have been made to management about the lacking cooling system which wasn’t doing its job. Everybody was told that an HVAC expert would be out to repair the HVAC system, but nothing has happened so far. Nobody has seen an HVAC van pull up with a bunch of HVAC experts to save the day. It’s not surprising that a lot of people have been calling off work because of the overheated days and the lack of air conditioning. I have looked carefully at some of the HVAC vents in the building and I suspect that one of the main issues is that the ductwork system is blocked up really badly. The management told everybody that the air filters were changed regularly every month, but I don’t think they bothered to clean the ductwork system in over a decade. With all that nasty dirt and debris building up throughout the ductwork system, I’m sure there are some serious blockages making it so the cooling air can not cool down the office. It really is frustrating and I’m really hoping that management gets it together and gets the HVAC experts out here. We already had a few people quit the job and there will be a lot more to follow if the cooling system is not working properly soon enough. I just spoke with the boss again today, and he said the HVAC expert should be out in a few days or so, but he’s starting to sound like a broken record.
