While he is wonderful to hang out with and talk to, there are some things he does that can be frustrating. Sometimes he will go to adjust the temperature control settings in the middle of the night and we might be sweating profusely or freezing depending on which way he adjusted the thermostat. When we go to confront him about things like this, he has always been brutally honest. If we ask him if he messed with the thermostat, he will tell us “yes” straight up without hesitation. When we ask him why, that’s a whole different thing. He never really seems to know why he does things like that, or he can’t explain it. I assume it has something to do with his autism. I understand that the senses are different and sometimes you need hands on to learn about things. Perhaps he was just trying to learn about how the HVAC system works. I ended up explaining to him all the different components and he was engaged. He was interested in all the names of the HVAC components and I even provided him a little diagram that labeled everything. He already memorized all of the parts. I kind of think he would be a very skilled HVAC professional if he really wanted to do that. It’s something I will have to talk to him about down the road, what he wants to do ultimately in life.

I always looked out for my baby sister especially when my older brothers would be mean to her. We always used to fight when we all were young. My baby sister was always determined though. She believed there was nothing she couldn’t do better than our brothers. Our eldest brother got into the HVAC industry working as an HVAC technician. He’s pretty good at working on HVAC systems but my baby sister became determined to do better than him. Everybody laughed at her when she said she would be a darn good HVAC worker. I think the laughter only encouraged her to study harder and focus on the goal. She actually scored better than our older brother on the HVAC certification test. She did very well in training and she is now one of the best HVAC technicians in the area. She already has been planning on starting her own HVAC business and I think our older brother’s pride has been wounded. He isn’t anywhere close to being prepared to start his own HVAC company. I always told my sister she could do anything she worked hard at and she really is making things happen. I’m really proud of her. Deep down, I think all of us are, but the others maybe are afraid to admit it. I told my sister that when she becomes successful, I hope she will hire me at her new HVAC company. She laughed and said for me, she would cover the cost of my schooling to get my HVAC certification. I hope she is serious about that because I know I am.

When I was cleaning out my attic space, I found an old coat that I used to wear when I was younger.

I searched the pockets and I found an old ticket stub.

It was a concert I went to with my father when I was younger before he passed away. It actually made me feel emotional. I was there for the music, but I remembered how my father kept talking about how remarkable the HVAC system was in the venue. It was genuinely a large stadium and the place was air conditioned just right, regardless of how many people were in there. He remarked that those industrial HVAC systems must be extremely efficient to keep such a sizable place so cool and comfortable. I thought that was foolish talk at the time, but now I agree with him that it was impressive. I miss everything about my father and it’s a shame that we are no longer able to hang out like how we used to. There was this one restaurant we used to go to where they had a really nice HVAC system. The boss showed us the smart app on his phone and how he adjusted the temperature control settings with it remotely. Now that really impressed my father and he had to run out and get a smart thermostat as soon as he could. I actually helped him to install the smart thermostat, and we were so happy when we finally figured out how to get it to work. Man I tell you, those were the days.

I’m sure many people can relate to the feeling of losing a wedding ring. It’s one of those heart wrenching experiences because it feels like part of you and it’s certainly important to your marriage. I actually have lost my ring on numerous occasions, but between my wife and I, we were able to find it. That happened to my wife a few times too with her ring. I was concerned because my ring was becoming very loose on my hand. Well, one day it finally happened, I lost my ring outside when I was snow blowing during a terrible snow storm. The ring just slipped off my finger one of those times when I took off my gloves. I honestly have no idea where I might have dropped it, but I feel it can only be in so many locations. That was a brutal snowstorm, I remember running to the fireplace to warm up my hands and then noticing that my wedding ring was missing. I went right back outside to look everywhere for my wedding ring, but it was nowhere to be found. I had to end up retreating and warming up next to the fireplace for a long while. I adjusted the temperature control settings too because it still felt a little bit nippy in the house. I ended up buying a metal detector because I am determined to find my ring. It should be easier when the snow finally melts and things warm up. I would rather go looking for my ring when I don’t need to use the HVAC system to keep warm or cool down.

When I retired, I was in charge of the entire Heating plus Cooling division plus I wasn’t ready to stop toiling. I was in charge of an entire crew plus I liked the responsibility plus the thrill of toiling every afternoon. I finally retired a couple of months ago. I wasn’t ready to leave the task or the business, however our wifey wanted to retire plus she wanted both of us to transport down south. I knew it was a nice method plus I knew that I would labor until I was ready to enter the grave if our wifey didn’t ask me to stop. When I told our boss back I was going to retire, he was genuinely shocked plus surprised. When he threw me a party, I was shocked plus surprised. The guy also gave me a large bonus plus a nice retirement package. My boss was concerned to see me leave after 35 years, however the guy knew that it was time for me to do something unusual for a while… Some mornings I miss the seasoned task plus the consistently tied up mornings, even though I genuinely prefer playing golf every afternoon plus I would not trade fishing for anything. Retirement is a lot more fun than toiling a more than 2 to more than 2 task.

It was always nice to get back home after long days of stalking celebrities in the past

I used to work as a photographer for a magazine until I finally decided to go independent. I honestly wasn’t into the celebrity lifestyle stuff and all that gossip, but it’s what paid the bills. Because I have always had a natural talent with photography, I suppose any photography job would work out fine for me. I was able to keep the money coming in when I was able to provide some of the best shots of various celebrities at numerous events. I enjoyed some of the venues because they had comfortable climate control settings. There were places that were disappointing though and I hate to work in conditions where I feel uncomfortable. I guess that’s one thing that’s nice about rich people though, usually they accommodate guests with excellent comfort and amazing temperature control settings. These days, I work with regular people taking pictures for various occasions like weddings, anniversaries, and things of that nature. I even go out on travels around the world to get good shots of numerous destinations and the wild life in those areas. Travelling is alright, but I always end up missing my fireplace back at home. I live in a peaceful area that is away from it all. It was always nice to get back home after long days of stalking celebrities in the past. Finally that life is behind me and I am able to basically make my own destiny with my photography work. Sometimes, I even enjoy taking photos from the sky with my advanced drone. I have been able to take some pretty stunning shots with that drone.
