These words speak the truth & maybe can help you realize that everything is relaxing & that is the truth so stop lying to yourself. Occasionally, especially when both of us are alone for a phase of time, both of us can go down these rabbit holes of thought & worry & make it seem like life is worse than it definitely is. My Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C corporation gave me a great book 1 afternoon & I read it whenever I need a bit of inspiration. The book is from Wayne Dyer & is called Wisdom of the Ages & is a great book for life wisdom from some of the greatest minds in history. I l earned about this book when she came to do some heating service on our unit 1 afternoon. The people I was with and I were talking about life & I was telling him about all of our problems when she mentioned this book. When she finished cleaning the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C plan in our flat I had already ordered the book online & it arrived the next afternoon. I’ve read the book a few times & it has absolutely helped me to look at things in a clearer way. I am also looking at our control unit in a clearer way because both of us also replaced the old dial control unit with a new Wi-Fi type 1 that is genuinely accurate.

Maybe this is a fine lesson about life for me too, don’t let fear paralyze you from living a better life

This bad little black dog I got a few weeks ago has been hiding under the sofa the whole time. It only comes out at night when I go to sleep to eat & use the litter box. Recently, the litter has been smelling definitely strong so I think maybe the dog is not feeling the best. I think I’ll supply it another month & if it still smells after that both of us will have to take the dog to the vet. I’m trying to avoid this because it isn’t cheap however if the dog is sick then I’ll need to take him in. I think the air quality in our cabin could be improved by getting some kind of UV air purifier to help disconnect the smell but I need to get to the heart of the concern & why is it smelling so much. I clean the litter a few times a afternoon however it shouldn’t smell this bad. Maybe I can run our central heat & air unit & see if the HEPA filter helps to disconnect some of the smell. I guess sorry for this bad dog that just stays under the sofa all by itself instead of coming out & playing & having fun. It’s own fear has made it a prisoner. Maybe this is a fine lesson about life for me too, don’t let fear paralyze you from living a better life. I think our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C plan can disconnect the smell so I will supply it a shot this month & let it run all afternoon to clean the air.

From a young age, our mother always told myself and others that I was going to do something great.

I recently gutted and redid the family bathroom.

It really needed a facelift.

The laminate tile was old and peeling up. The tile around the bath tub had mildew stains and the grout was all different colors. I hated the cheap sink, faucet and vanity. Even the toilet needed to go. My husband and I ripped everything out and replaced it with brand new. We have a deep soaking, jetted tub. We have all Moen fixtures and a new toilet. I even sprung for a LED lighted mirror and recessed lighting in the ceiling. My favorite is that I added a penny tile floor down in the bathroom. Before placing the tile though, I decided to add heated flooring. The bathroom isn’t that large and adding heated flooring is pretty simple. I already owned a boiler system and just hooked piping to it. The pipes go underneath the floors so they would feel warm in the winter. They are spread throughout the whole bathroom and it is amazing. In the process it only took my HVAC contractor about an hour. During the process the guy asked if I wanted heated towel racks too. Apparently a boiler can do that as well. I decided, why not? So I had that installed as well. The total bill wasn’t expensive and now I have heated flooring and racks. I have to say, it is amazing to have it in the winter. I love having warm heat and a toasty warm towel anytime I leave the shower. I feel like a rich person.

I am already sick of the winter season.

Nothing good is in the winter.

I am not a fan of sledding, skiing or being outside in the cold. I don’t watch the Winter Olympics. I also hate wearing thick coats, boots, scarves and hats everywhere I go. I used to hate leaving my house due to my driveway. The snow would pile up and I would need to shovel around my car. Then I would need to turn on the car heating system to melt the ice off the windshield. While it was heating, I would need to remove all the snow from the car and chip away any thick ice. Anytime I needed to leave somewhere it was a 10-15 minute process of just snow removal. Thankfully my house has a boiler system. A boiler can have piping hooked up to it and be a snowmelt system. I have piping underneath my driveway that hot water from the boiler flows through. That hot water makes the driveway heated. Now because it is heated, no snow can stick to my driveway. I can just walk outside without thick boots on. Another pro is that anything touching the heated surface feels warm as a result. My car feels heated! On bitter cold days there still is a little bit of ice. Most of the time though, all the snow and ice melts on my car due to being on a heated surface. I don’t feel this is a luxury item where I live. I absolutely needed this system.

I love being a cat owner.

I will admit, I am a little insane when it comes to my cat.

He lived on the streets for a few years before I found him and adopted him. So I feel my sweet prince earned a little spoiling. He has a scratch post, a triangle shaped scratcher and a lounger he can lay on and scratch. I have a wall mounted cat tree that he can sleep and play on. I also have a recliner with a special fabric that my cat just loves. The giant chair is only for my sweet kitty. He has the top of the line cat litter that doesn’t create dust or fumes. I also got him a purified water system and the best cat food money could buy. My cat is such a monster since he gets 12 treats a day. I have all different flavors that I dole out throughout the day. Probably the most insane thing I have ever done was get a new heating system though. In fairness, my central heater wasn’t all that good and about to die. When the heater clicked on and off, it scared my cat. He would run and hide under the bed. I couldn’t have that. I wanted new flooring in the house anyway. I removed the old rug and got new tile laid down. In the process I had heated flooring added. Now my heater is under my feet and where my sweet cat is. The heat is electric based so that means no noise when it turns on. It also doesn’t waste energy rising to the ceiling and there are no cold spots. Anything touching the floor feels warm as a result. My cat just loves the new addition to our home.

I am a very forgetful person.

I am constantly leaving my keys, purse or phone in the house and then I can’t find it. I also am someone who will book an appointment and not go. My dentist now knows he has to call me the day before and an hour before my appointment. I need to be reminded when I have a prescription ready, when my water delivery is coming and all other appointments. I try to get my bills automated and everything set up where I don’t need to remember. For a while my HVAC company and I were having a difficult relationship. I would forget HVAC service for years. When I would remember, I would then be at work rather than waiting at home to let my HVAC contractor in. I would mix up dates and times constantly. Finally my HVAC business and I came to a solution. Twice a year I get a HVAC tune up. One is more for my heater and the other for my AC. I get the tune ups in spring and fall. The HVAC company calls and sets up the date with me over the phone. I then get an email the week before it is happening. Then, the day before the HVAC company calls and confirms a time window with me. With all of these alerts, I don’t forget to meet my HVAC contractor anymore. Since it is a signed program, I never miss out on HVAC service. I pay for it automatically once a year and my HVAC system is taken care of.
