Unfortunately, it is a rather stressful venture to travel as much as I do occasionally, especially when the outdoor air temperature is questionable. In my new climate, the outdoor air temperature changes wildly, however some days it is really hot and some days it is really cold, depending on the season and the fluctuating climate around the world. Unfortunately, when I go to visit my friends occasionally the outdoor air quality and air temperature is such a concern that I cannot get comfortable in their heating, cooling, and air quality control settings. I never want to ask anybody to change their thermostat when I arrive at their house. I trust that they have certain temperature control settings to keep themselves comfortable, to keep their indoor air clean, and to keep wear and tear on their heating, cooling, and ventilation program to a minimum, however, occasionally they just have indoor air qualities that I cannot withstand. Last time I was going to see a friend, I was harshly disappointed by their central heating, cooling, and air quality control system. Every room had a different temperature and it was uncomfortable no matter what. I did not want to complain about the indoor temperature control program though I also could not sleep in the heat. After one night going to see my friend, I made up an excuse to go back home early and enjoyed my own air conditioner system.

I am a retired heating and air conditioning specialist.

And in my free time that I have now days I still find myself being in the HVAC repair world. I just can not get away from the need to want to help people I know with all their heating and air conditioning issues. Mostly it is friends and family. Are they taking advantage of the fact that I am a retired heating and air conditioning specialist? Maybe, but they do offer me cash when I fix something. I just do not take it. I feel that in a way, they are doing me a favor by calling on me to assist in fixing their heating and air conditioning system issues because after retiring, I found myself feeling kind of bored. I am always looking for something to do. So being able to help friends and loved ones with any issues that may arise with their central heating and air conditioning system is one good thing. It does not happen every single day of the week, but maybe a few times a month. Also by me doing this for no cash, it saves them a ton of money in the long run. If they called a heating and air conditioning company for some of the things I have been doing, they would have spent hundreds of bucks. But again, I do not mind. It keeps me occupied and gives me something to do on those days when I am super bored just sitting around looking for something to do. I miss being a certified heating and air conditioning specialist.

The other night I was enjoying a nice romantic evening with my girlfriend on the beach. We were just sitting there by the ocean making out and enjoying each others company. We then decided to take a walk on the beach and take in the night air quality which was wonderful. As we were walking along the beach and the city had their tractors cleaning up the beach for the day, I came across something that did not get picked up. It looked like a ticket to something. When I picked it up much to my surprise it was a voucher for our local heating and air conditioning company for a free HVAC tune up! Both me and my girlfriend were taken back by the irony of this, because I had just been saying to her that I need to call my local heat and a/c company for them to send out a certified heating and air conditioning specialist to do my seasonal HVAC tune up! And now here was a free voucher to get that tune up that I was going to call for and end up paying one hundred dollars for. Now I can save that one hundred dollars for a nice night out with my girlfriend or put it towards a week of groceries. All thanks to finding this voucher on the beach in the late night hours that was for a free HVAC tune up and check up from the local heating and air conditioning company here in town. It seems luck was really on my side that night. Both with my girl and with getting the HVAC tune up voucher!

If you are suffering from bad air quality in your home, don’t just sit there and take it.

Go and call an air quality specialist in your area for air quality solutions! That is something that many do not know about. They do not realise that there are air quality specialists in every town or city somewhere just the same as there are heating and air conditioning specialists. In a way, they kind of go hand in hand. One safety tip I have for you today is to never light fires outside close to your home. That may sound like a no brainer, but you would be surprised how many people light bonfires outside near their homes when hanging out in the backyards in the cool winter evenings. They do not realise that it is not the same thing as having a controlled fireplace. A fireplace whether it be a gas fireplace, an electric fireplace or an authentic regular fireplace are all controlled. When lighting a bonfire outside it could easily go out of control if the wind blows a certain way, and this could cause your home to catch on fire and burn to the ground if too close. So the options I would suggest as a tip to not even let this happen would be to either light your bonfires far away from the house, or, go and get a gas fireplace and hook it up outside. Both of these options would work fine. The last alternate to using a gas fireplace outdoors would be to either build or buy a firepit. These are pretty much portable outdoor fireplaces. Some homes have them already there, but you can buy them yourself for a little bit of money. These tips are my advice on keeping safe and warm while having those winter or fall evening gatherings in your backyard. Just be careful with the bonfires! That is the most important thing. Think gas fireplace or firepit instead for sure!

I am majoring in writing at college right now.

I am trying to get my degree in journalism.

Part of the schooling is doing mock article projects. And the project I was recently assigned as a test was quite an odd one. They want me to write about the differences in central heating and air conditioning systems. In other words, I need to do deep research into the different brands of heating and air conditioning systems and find out what makes them different from each other, and then write a whole 6 page article on it! This is going to be some long drawn out tough work, but I will be getting on it and doing the research. This will include websites on the internet as well as calling several different heating and air conditioning dealerships acting like I am potential buyer of a brand new and up to date central heat and a/c unit. This is how you get information for something you need to write about without letting them know what you are doing. I could just flat out call up and ask for information and tell the truth, but then most likely the heating and air conditioning dealerships would not want to speak with me without me paying for their time and effort. If they think they are getting a potential sale, then it can work and they will give me the info on different heating and air conditioning system brands that I ask for. Like I mentioned, this is going to be one long and hard project!

It has been really odd the last several months.

I am not one who had ever experienced allergies, but I have been having them all of a sudden.

I was trying to figure it out. And then it finally hit me. It seemed that my allergies would only act up when I was at home for long periods of time. So I decided to hit the internet and do some research on the matter. Everything suggested to me that I had bad air quality in my home. My next step was to call the local air quality experts in town and have them come and test the indoor air quality of my home. And lo and behold, they did and it turned out that I had an air quality issue which was the cause of all my allergy issues. The solution? Well they gave it to me, but it was a pricey one. It was to get a whole home air purification system that would be part of my central heating and air conditioning system once installed. I had to think about this. After thinking about it a little while and getting tired of my allergies, I decided to get the loan from the bank and go for it. And now today I have a whole home air purification system in my home and it is really helping me out. I have not had allergy issues in the 2 months that I have had this whole home air purification system within my central heating and air conditioning system. It was pricey but worth it.

I am one of the few in my area that actually has a smart thermostat for their central heating and air conditioning system.

Around here, most people like to do things old school.

But as for me, when it comes to my heating and air conditioning, I always like to be up to date on the latest and very best in HVAC technology. However, things sometimes go wrong with the smart thermostat. One of which is that the app on the cell phone sometimes messes up and it takes 24 hours for it to reset itself. I don’t know why this is. But the heating and air conditioning specialist told me that it was because my phone was most likely outdated. I am not getting a new phone right now, so I have to deal with it when it happens. But I have a good back up, which is my home computer and my laptop. I have copies of the app to run the smart thermostat on both of those. So although I can not control the smart thermostat while away from home during the 24 hour reset period, I can stil program it to go on and off at certain times and do everything and anything else with the smart thermostat that is needed through the computer. I was glad I decided to get the app on both home computer and laptop. Otherwise, I would probably be forced to buy a new phone at this point just so I could have control over my smart thermostat. But all around, I love the smart thermostat and all it does for my heating and air conditioning needs.
