I noticed a bizarre aroma in the loft a couple of weeks ago.

I didn’t believe the odor and I couldn’t find the source of the aroma.

I absolutely thought I was going crazy. I was terribly upset that I was losing our mind. Even our child said she didn’t aroma anything funny. I thought I was the only lady who could aroma the nasty and horrible odor. I didn’t aroma the odor for afternoons and I thought it was gone, but then I aromaed the odor again last night. This time I started searching all over the loft for the source. I thought an pet died in the air duct. That complication happened 1 time in the past when our wife and I had our first house, however an pet got lost in the air duct and could not find its way out. The pet died of hunger and thirst and the body started to rot inside of the air duct. By the time every one of us aromaed the horrible order, it was way too late for the little lady. I thought for sure every one of us had the same complication again until I realized that our child was smoking in her kitchen. I aromaed the nicotine in the kitchen, then my child must have thought that I was already asleep. I burst through her door and I saw him sitting at the window with a lit cigarette in her hand… She nearly jumped out the window when she saw the mad and furious look on our face. I doubt that will be the last time that she smokes, but it will really be the last she smokes in our house.

When you have allergies like I have, you do everything you can to keep them at bay.

My allergies are so bad that I feel like I have the flu.

I am always worried about house dust. Most of my allergies come from house dust. I wake up and I can’t breathe. I have started cleaning the house every day. I am always dusting and trying to find ways to tampen the dust in the house. I know that a lot of the house dust comes from the HvAC system. I vacuum the air ducts every couple days, along with doing all that dusting. Last week I brought the HvAC company to the house. They did the maintenance on the furnace, ahead of winter. They made sure everything was cleaned and running properly. While they were there, they changed the air filter and they even gave me a new air filter that was said to be able to take more dust and dirt out of the air. They said I should see a big difference in my air quality, by using this new air filter. I suddenly started thinking about my air quality more seriously. I dusted the air vents, but what about the dust that was in the ductwork. Wasn’t that coming out of the air vents every time the furnace turned on? I asked the HvAC technician about this and he said I was absolutely right. He said they had a team of HVAC technicians that did nothing but clean the ductwork. I made an appointment to have the ductwork cleaned, knowing I would now be doing everything I could to keep my allergies from getting worse.

My mom and dad owned a resort hotel.

When they decided to retire, I wanted to take over the resort.

I knew the business well and I wanted to give it a try. Mom told me that it wasn’t much of a money maker anymore, but I knew the answer. I knew that if we were to put in all new heating and air conditioning and do some updates, we could make this resort work. Dad said he knew it was beginning to fall apart, but it was still so lovely. I wanted to install new carpeting and furniture. I also knew there was plumbing and cosmetic changes that needed done. A couple of the roofs needed redone. I took out a large mortgage on the property. I had to give them a list of all the repairs and a five-year plan. When I looked at the list, I knew I had forgotten one thing. I wanted an all new HVAC system installed. I wanted every building connected to one main HVAC system that I could monitor. I knew that if I had zone control throughout the property, I could also have a smart thermostat. I would be able to monitor the HVAC systems from one main computer. When no one was in one of the cottages, I could turn the HVAC off. When someone was checking into one of the cottages, it would take a simple click on the computer screen and the heating or air conditioning would turn on even before the guest went inside. I knew this would be better for our guest and they would spread word about how comfortable and up to date our resort is.

I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to inherit the house of my dreams.

My uncle had always told me that the house was mine when he passed away, but I didn’t think it would really happen.

My partner walked into the house and he was thrilled. He was picturing all kinds of changes, except the HVAC system. The house was gorgeous as is, and I informed him that all we were doing was install a new HVAC system. In case he hadn’t noticed, there wasn’t any air conditioning in this house. My uncle had never had air conditioning installed. He had a window air conditioning unit in his bedroom, and he thought that was enough. I was leaning toward getting a few more window air conditioners. I couldn’t think of any reason to put more expense into the air conditioning than what was necessary. I had honestly considered selling the house in the near future. My partner had other ideas. He reminded me of the cost of running window air conditioners. He said that probably the reason my uncle had never installed more than one. He said that central air conditioning may be more expensive to purchase, but it was much cheaper to use. They were more efficient and instead of having air conditioning localized, it would now be throughout the entire house. I had to admit that he was making a lot of sense. After looking around a bit more, he was also making more sense about living in the house instead of selling it. I really did love the house and AC would make it so much more comfortable.

I was getting ready to plan for our annual skiing trip.

I had all the information and I wanted to make the phone call for the reservations.

First I had to call my family to see how many people were going to go along. We spent an entire week at a ski lodge over the holidays, and everyone was excited. I finally had a head count and I called the ski lodge. I told them I needed a chalet that would sleep sixteen people. I had four married couples and the rest were kids. They told me they had a large chalet that had a fireplace and a new HVAC system installed. It had bunk beds and pull out couches that would sleep ten and there were four private bedrooms with baths, along with two other bathrooms. I was thrilled when she gave me the price. We were about a week before the vacation when I got a phone call from the resort. They told me that the chalet I had rented was no longer available. The HVAC system had broken and they needed to replace it. I couldn’t believe our vacation was going to bust because of the HVAC system. I asked her if they had any other chalets available. She told me there were none that could sleep that many people. I asked when they would have the HvAC system repaired and she told me not until the spring. She did say they had two chalets that were close to each other if we wanted them, and it would be for the same price. I asked about the HVAC and she said they were equipped with a fireplace in each bedroom and a brand new HVAC system.

For the last year, ever since we had moved into the house, I had been using the garage as my work studio.

There was a wood stove in there, that I thought was going to be good for the garage.

That was before I realized all the work that went with a wood stove. I had to buy wood, cut it up, split the wood, and feed it into the stove. The heat was uneven and I always worried about the dust and dirt. I didn’t want all that dust getting onto my paintings. I talked to my husband and told him that I wanted to get a real HVAC system into the garage. He told me to look at the pros and cons of different smaller HVAC systems and then we could sit down and talk. I started researching different HVAC units. I was pretty sure I wanted to get a heat pump. I found out that the heat pump was more efficient in energy and heat. I also read about the ductless HVAC system. The ductless HVAC works under the same process as the heat pump. It wouldn’t take up very much space and it was supposed to be energy efficient. The ductless HVAC system didn’t need to have ductwork, either. When I showed the information to my husband, he seemed impressed. He liked the idea that we could purchase the HVAC system and install it by ourselves. I finally made a decision on my own that my husband approved of. I can’t wait until the ductless HVAC system is finally installed.

I was taking my kids to visit my parents last winter. They had a week off school and we decided to visit grandma and grandpa. We lived down south, and my kids had never had a Christmas where they could see snow. It had been a long time since I had been up north in the winter. I should have realized that I should have had the HVAC system checked before taking off. I just didn’t put it on my list of things to do. We were only on the road for about five hours when my heater wasn’t working. It was night and even the south got cold at night. The heater just quit working. I pulled over at the next hotel and got a room for us. I didn’t want to risk them getting sick from sleeping in a cold car, and I was uncomfortable. I thought that since it was also a truck stop, there should be someone who could work on my HVAC system. The next morning, I asked for help with the heater. The man behind the counter asked me if it was the HVAC system. I wanted to be sarcastic, but I needed their help. I told them that the heating system quit working in the early morning hours. He called someone in the back of the garage. The man came out and I told him about the heater. I was surprised that he went right out and worked on it. He did suggest that I have the heater inspected before going on a long trip, as he made the repairs.
