I have to be up super early tomorrow morning for the installation of a brand new central heating and air conditioning system unit.

As a result, I need to crash out to sleep early tonight which is gonna be hard since I usually do not go to sleep that early or have to get up at the crack of dawn! I do not understand why these heating and air conditioning companies always have to do heat and a/c installations at the hint of sunrise.

Can’t they accept HVAC installation appointments later in the day? I know some independent heat and a/c contractors do, but sadly I could not use them as it was not up to me. I rent this house and it is the property management company who bought the brand new central heating and air conditioning system and set the company to instal the thing. And I am just the one that has to deal with this. But on the flip side, I will have a much better and more powerful central heating and air conditioning system in the house. So when the extreme weather comes in I will be nice and warm or nice and cool, whichever it requires. I guess it is a good thing. I just do not like having to get up at crack of dawn and crash out early! I probably won’t even be able to fall asleep because my body is not used to this kind of schedule. It’s really horrible if you ask me. But again, I just keep thinking about that powerful central heat and a/c unit that will be the end result.

I really hate getting sick.

But when I do, I know exactly how to take care of myself.

I take my medicine and then I always make sure to stay in bed with the heating or air conditioning set just right on the thermostat. Having perfect temperatures in the house while having the flu is very important. If you have a house that is too hot or too cold, you can end up getting yourself even sicker or simply making recovery from the flu really painful. That is one of the reasons I always have my seasonal HVAC tune up and check up from the local heating and air conditioning company. I never know when either myself or my family is going to get sick. So it is best to always have the central heating and air conditioning system working constantly. We do not have to use our central heating and air conditioning system all year round here thankfully. But when it gets really cold or hot, believe me, it needs to go on full blast! The other important thing that is a helpful remedy for flu is to make sure that your indoor air quality is always up to par. I do this by always having a portable air purification system around. Then, if anyone is sick, we make sure to take that portable air purification system and put it in the bedroom of whoever isn’t well to ensure they have the best possible indoor air quality along with the most perfect temperatures. Heating, air conditioning and air purification are the main 3 keys to beating a flu in my humble opinion!

I just had a den build onto my house.

I really wanted to have a small room to be able to do my own things in. Like watch TV, read books and just be away from the family alone on certain days. With it being the beginning of winter, it tended to get a little chilly in the den, even with the central heating system pumping away. They were not able to get extra air flow and air vents into the built on den without me paying several grand more, which I was absolutely not going to do. So I went out and bought a portable space heater instead. The portable space heater does a really great job in heating up my den and keeping me warm. It is not that big of a room or space, so the portable space heater actually heats it up really fast. I probably only have to have it on for about 3 minutes before the entire room is all good and the perfect temperature for me. Portable space heaters now days actually heat up large rooms pretty fast as well if you turn the thermostat on them up a bit. It is really amazing how much power these portable space heaters have today. Back when I was growing up the portable space heaters that were on the market would barely heat a small room none the less a big one. How the times have changed! I was happy though to be able to get away with a portable space heater for heating in my brand new den.

When you work for a big business, you get security and you lose freedom.

That is how it works, when another person pays you, you are beholden to that person and have to follow their rules.

I did that kind of work for a few years, and just got fed up with it. At that point I had enough hands-on experience to go out on my own, and start picking up freelance jobs. I still worked for a lot of the same contractors I already knew, but now I got to pick and choose my jobs, so I had more freedom. For a few years it was touch and go, but now that my HVAC brand has achieved a lot of local recognition, I have more jobs than I care for. I actually have a network of other independent local HVAC techs who I subcontract with, and only keep the gigs that appeal to me. Do you know how subcontracting works? Let’s say a person has a faulty air conditioner, and they call me up to come have a look at it. Except that day I have another HVAC job, and then I want to take the afternoon off to go shopping with my kids. I reach out to one of the other HVAC techs I know and I offer them the job, for a small finder’s fee of course. They make money, I make a little money, and the air conditioner gets fixed so everyone is happy. I still work a lot, but it’s great knowing I never HAVE to work.

I’m really not the type of person who likes to hold a grudge…

But sometimes I feel like my friends are trying to drive me insane. It seems like nobody knows how to communicate these days, and everybody winds up getting into trouble when we make assumptions about each other. I do my best to be a clear communicator and to have good relationships with everyone in my life, but sometimes I feel like I am ready to strangle my closest associates. Even when it is over something as mundane as heating, cooling, and air quality control devices. For instance, last week I was talking to my friend about purchasing an air conditioning unit for his house. He has a single AC window unit, which does not adequately cool his apartment. Obviously, this is not my problem to deal with… Unless I am staying at his place. It was supposed to be so hot outside that I wanted to purchase a more high-powered air conditioning system for him. I talked to my friend about making the AC window purchase and asked if he could pick up the air temperature control device from the store for me. My friend agreed and quickly found a small AC unit that was available in his neighborhood. In the meantime, I looked up a different air quality control provider and found a more powerful AC device for a similar cost. By the time I contacted my friend, however, he had already purchased the cheap cooling system and installed it in his home. Well… now we have two extra AC window units, and I’m supposed to pay for both of them because we didn’t communicate clearly? This could have been a much cooler situation.

I don’t think I’m the type of person who asks for very much in life.

I really just want a quiet, peaceful house of my own with a little bit of land.

I want to have a dog by my side as my best friend. I want to be able to spend time with my friends and family as often as possible. And I want to be compensated for a job that I actually enjoy doing. Other than that, I am pretty low maintenance and open to making adjustments in life. Unfortunately, my heating, cooling, and air quality control system doesn’t feel the same way as I do. My furnace and air conditioning unit are extremely high maintenance and they require a lot of attention from me. I am continually pouring more money into my indoor air handling devices than I can possibly fathom. It feels as though I am calling the local Home Comfort dealership on a regular basis, complaining about my high utility bills, my dirty indoor air, and my respiratory health failures. I have never had such horrible allergies or respiratory disturbances in my entire life, since I have lived with this indoor air temperature control system. It also doesn’t help that I have signed myself up to be a foster for an extremely smelly old dog. He has a lot of indoor air temperature control preferences, and he adds a lot of negative air pollution to the indoor environment. These days when I’m calling my favorite heating, cooling, and air quality control dealership it is to complain about air purification as much as the indoor air temperature. Without HEPA air filters and a separate air filtration device, I absolutely cannot stand to live in my little home… And that is because of my large, smelly, furry, best friend.

In the end… we got divorced

I do not believe in giving people firm ultimatums. Unless… There’s no other choice. Unfortunately, I feel like I have reached that point in several of my relationships when things strictly were not working out and I couldn’t keep doing it anymore. Of course, I always try to compromise before things get so extreme. This is why I have spent many months talking to my husband about our heating, cooling, and air quality control system at the house. I know that we have extremely different indoor air temperature control preferences, but I felt as though we were butting heads about the indoor air temperature control system more than we were seeing eye-to-eye. Every day we were going back and forth, making trips to the thermostat to change the heating and cooling settings. It was obvious that our indoor air temperature control equipment was taking a beating from all of our rapid temperature adjustment. I knew that our heating and cooling bill was going to be through the roof whenever we had to pay the energy bill that month. I also knew that our heating, cooling, and ventilation system was going to take a nosedive based on all of the abuse it was experiencing. Meanwhile, everyone was uncomfortable and unable to come up with a solution for our thermostat. Eventually, I had to sit down with my husband and have the big talk about our indoor temperature control differences. Either we needed to replace the heating and cooling system with zone control the HVAC, or we needed to get divorced. In the end… we got divorced. I’m a lot more comfortable now, though.

I guess I’m not the type of person who enjoys being in big crowds.

However, I will only stick around for a short amount of time before I am feeling overwhelmed and ready to return to my life of isolation. This is why I am especially not fond of weddings. Many of my friends plan enormous, intricate weddings that require a lot of socializing. If anything goes wrong to make the situation more uncomfortable, I’m ready to leave the event right away. This is exactly what happened at my cousin’s wedding last week when the indoor air temperature control system stopped working halfway through their reception. I was absolutely not excited to sit in a sweltering hot hall for any amount of time, considering how hot and humid it was outside. When we sat down for the ceremony and I noticed that there was no air conditioning blowing, I immediately got nervous. I mentioned the increasing air temperature to the mother of the bride and asked if there was any backup plan for ventilation. Apparently, they had not considered the heating, cooling, and air quality control plan when they were coming up with worst-case scenarios. As the air conditioning obviously failed and the cold air floated out of the building, I was beginning to panic. I waited as long as I could for a heating, cooling, and air quality control repair shop to send out an emergency HVAC worker for the air conditioning system, but I was sweating through my tuxedo as I sat there. Eventually, I gave up and snuck out the back door before the pressure of socializing and sweating made me have a panic attack.

I am the sort of person who has a lot of friends. However, I like to keep them relatively distant. I find that the more I interact with people, the less that I like them. It is best if I have a pretty lonesome life and only engage in human interactions when I am feeling up to it. However, there is one friend that I absolutely will never turn away. If my best friend ever wants to hang out, I will drop everything so that we can spend time together. I genuinely enjoy his company and I also feel like he has done so much for me that I could never miss his call. This is because my best friend is a heating, cooling, and air quality control technician in town. He works on the most technologically advanced, modern indoor air temperature control systems on the market. He has been employed at a large residential and commercial indoor air temperature control repair shop for the past 15 years already. I know that someday he is going to open his own indoor Home Comfort company and hire the best heating, cooling, and ventilation specialists in the city. For now, however, he is happy just being a regular Indoor air temperature control worker. And I absolutely love that… Because it means that I get the best indoor air quality control devices available. Whenever there is a new piece of heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment on the market, my friend brings it over to my house. He helps me to install the brand new heating and cooling device. He even helps me troubleshoot any of the equipment failures. Thanks to my buddy, I have never lived more comfortably… Even if it includes more socializing then I would prefer.

Sometimes I feel like the universe has a lot of interesting plans for me.

Sometimes they are pleasant, welcome events that take place…

And other times there is a lot of suffering. However, I can tell you that you will learn an awful lot through the most difficult times in life. This is what I had to realize last week when I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that my heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment was not working. Specifically, my central air conditioning system was obviously not operating based on the fact that it was 90 degrees inside and equally humid. I got up and checked the thermostat, but there was nothing I could do for my malfunctioning indoor air quality control device. I decided that I was going to wait until morning and call the closest heating, cooling, and air quality control repair shop for a regular diagnostic inspection. I figured that their Home Comfort worker would be able to give me the best opinion when it came to my broken indoor air quality control device. When I called, however, they didn’t have any HVAC technicians available for several days. The phone operator at the indoor air quality control dealership told me to hang tight and wait for the next available heating, cooling, and ventilation specialist. Since I couldn’t get comfortable in my home, I decided to drive down to the local bar for a nice cold drink and to use their air conditioning. Within a few minutes of sitting down at the bar, I struck up a conversation with the guy next to me. Wouldn’t you know, this chatty man happened to be an indoor air quality control technician. My suffering was over, and my AC was fixed within an hour.
