My local heat and a/c corporation that i deal with has been trying to sell me their HVAC service plan for a few months now and I keep turning it down because it doesn’t have enough benefits to warrant the price per month they want. The other day I actually got a call from their sales department and they must have listened to mine and other potential customer’s reasoning for now wanting the HVAC service plan. Because now they have the greatest heating and air conditioning service plan I think I ever been offered in my full entire life. It has everything that I would need to be protected against natural disasters to my central heating and air conditioning system unit, and also it covers all seasonal HVAC tune ups and check ups, ductwork cleaning, general HVAC maintenance and repair and also gives a discount on any heat and a/c products I may want to buy while on the HVAC service plan. Now it is all worth the monthly price they are asking. So after finding all this out,.I told them to go ahead and sign me up for it and I would pay monthly with my credit card. I will feel at ease now that almost every single one of my heating and air conditioning service needs are covered under one monthly fee. The only drawback is if I do not have any HVAC needs in the next year. But somehow I do not see that happening as there’s always something with my central heating and air conditioning system going on here and there.
Night time is the nice time
I am so enthralled with the area of the country I live in.
It has to be the only place I know of that you never need to use your central heating and air conditioning system after dark.
And this goes for all year round! Even when it is cold in the winter, at night it actually warms up just enough to where you can use a portable space heater on the lowest setting to keep warm. Unless of course there is a blizzard outside. Which is rare, but does happen on occasion. The summer time of the year is beautiful at night. It does not matter if you are cranking your central air conditioning to the max during the day or if it is a one hundred degree heat wave! By the time night comes, you will be able to relax and enjoy the great air quality and night air by opening up the window and turning off the central heating and air conditioning system all together. This is sheer heaven. Believe me when I tell you this. I know I have told others and no one seems to believe me unless they have either visited or lived in this part of the country. They can not believe that no air conditioning is needed in the summer months at night. I would not have believed it either I guess if someone told me about it without me living here myself. The world is a crazy place. But I live in a great area and am happy to not have to use my central air conditioning on summer nights!
I should look harder
I nearly wanted to kick myself when I thought I was out of air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system the other week.
I ran out right away and bought a whole ton of them.
Well, about 2 days ago I was in my basement cleaning some old stuff out when I found a whole back stock of HEPA brand air filters that I had bought some months back! I totally forgot about them! Had I known I had all of these high quality HEPA air filters I would have never rushed out the other week to buy new air filters. I must have spent around 35 bucks just on what I bought. I guess I am now going to have air filters for a very long time. That is the plus side of all this. The bad side is I did not need to spend that 35 bucks right now. If only I had bothered to look in the basement and if my memory was better I would have known that I had all of those HEPA air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system unit and I would not have did what i did. In the future I will be looking a heck of a lot harder when I think I am out of something. As a matter of fact, I am going to comb the basement more this weekend to see if there is anything else that I stored down here in which I totally forgot about. That is the best thing I think I should do.
Be very careful when doing this
When your smart thermostat ends up having the batteries run out, you can change them pretty easy just the same as anything that requires regular batteries in your house.

But all this can be avoided if you just be careful when you remove the smart thermostat from the mount in order to be able to properly change the batteries. A little extra care will go a long way, and you will enjoy the benefits of your smart thermostat for years to come. It is really easy when you think about it. Just be careful! Care and paying attention are the key things here. A smart thermostat is the best thing that came to HVAC technology in a while. Utilize it to your advantage.

The broken remote
I was so annoyed when the remote that I have to my smart thermostat broke the other day.
- I got the remote because I really hate using the app that is on the computer and my cell phone.
These remotes that they sell for smart thermostats are built really cheap. I have only had this remote about 3 months and it already broke. They are not too expensive to buy, it is just a pain in the rear having to go out and buy another one after only 3 months of having this one! Will the next remote break in the same amount of time? I am not sure. But I have to give it a shot because I want to be able to control and program my smart thermostat without having to mess with the cell phone app or my home computer. The only way I would ever want to use the app on the phone is if I am out and want to turn my central heating and air conditioning system on or off. Controlling the central heating and air conditioning system while away is the main benefit of the smart thermostat anyhow. It has saved me a lot of money on my electric bills this way using far less energy. Because the central heating and air conditioning system would have to run all the time when no one was home otherwise. This brillant smart thermostat makes it so that no longer has to happen. I just hope that I can have a quality remote control this time around to control it from home!

It was out of control
I had a very unusual wake up call in a way. My fireplace went out of control and the flames were blowing off to the side. My living room carpet almost caught on fire! After this incident happening I made a decision. I was going to get rid of this vintage fireplace and opt in for something a bit more safer. That would be an electric fireplace. I called the fireplace professionals in my area and had them completely seal off where the authentic fireplace was in my home first. Then after this I went out and invested in the electric fireplace. It cost about a little over one thousand dollars. But this was going to be very worth it. With the electric fireplace I would never again have to worry about flames going out of control and also, the electric fireplace works well for decoration at Christmas time. When I used to decorate my authentic fireplace, I would always have to be careful of putting things in certain places in risk of a flame catching onto it. But not anymore! My electric fireplace will give me free reign of everything around it. Also, this electric fireplace works great as a super powered space heater as well. When it comes to space heating, this electric fireplace can really warm up my entire living room in minutes much better than the authentic fireplace could. So all in all, an electric fireplace is the way to go these days if you want a fireplace in your home.
