Martha was so delighted on her way home.

The overseas trip had been the best time she’d had in a long time. She recalled when her boss asked her team who was willing to go abroad for two months. Martha was going through a nasty breakup and saw this as a chance to be in a different environment. She accepted the opportunity and her company put her up in the best accommodation. Here she met interesting people also working in that country and had the best time. During her flight back, all Martha could think about was the last two months. She got home late in the afternoon on a chilly fall day. Her house felt cold, so Martha went to switch on the AC unit to spread some warmth. But, the heating system didn’t respond. Martha checked the circuit box, but nothing was out of place. Martha knew then that there was something wrong with the heating unit. She got on her phone and called the local AC business that had serviced the heating system a while back. It was still working hours, and an AC mechanic came to Martha’s home. He began inspecting the central HVAC unit and realized it had a cracked heat exchanger. That was the worst news for Martha because the only solution was to buy a new HVAC unit. Martha got a few items and went to stay with a friend until the following day when she’d purchase a new heating unit. The AC mechanic came back and replaced the faulty HVAC, restoring heat in the home.

Moving back home wasn’t in my plans in 2020.

I was working in a big company in the city after landing the position two years back.

My goal was to keep saving a purchase a loft in the area. Work went on well until news of a pandemic started spreading. The Coronavirus seemed distant at first, but one day we went home and never got back to the office. To implement the work from home policy, our bosses took the chance to cut out a few positions. My job ended up on the chopping board, and I was laid off. The moment I told mom, she asked me to move back home. We’d been hearing news of lockdowns, and she didn’t want me living alone, isolated from everyone I loved. I packed up my apartment, got out of the lease and went to stay in my old bedroom. That summer, we were indoors most of the time and required the cooling system to keep working. The heat was extreme, and mom found herself cranking up the central AC each day. At the end of the month, the electric bill had shot up because of the cooling system. Despite the risk, mom had to call the HVAC company in the area for assistance. She wanted to hire an AC repair person to come and service the cooling system. She worried that the unit would continue using more energy to cool the house and raise the energy costs in our home. The AC repair person came, and we took precautions while he inspected and serviced the cooling system.

I never intended to move from the small town where I grew up.

Often it felt like we were one big happy family. However, when I began my small business during the pandemic, things changed. I got a mentor by accident who showed me the immense potential that was there. I made my first million dollars from home, and that’s how the company was born. It was crucial to relocate to the city, so I began to search for a house. My mentor helped me find a two-bedroom and two-bathroom house in a lovely neighbourhood. It took about a month for me to pack, say goodbye and move. My family were quite supportive though they hoped I’d go visit them often. The first thing I did when I moved into the house was contact an HVAC company. There was one in the area that had some good reviews about its qualified HVAC technicians. I had to schedule an appointment for the following day, and the HVAC technician arrived at 10 am. The goal of the appointment was to check the complete air conditioning system in the house. I didn’t want any surprises after spring was over. The previous owner had started the air conditioning was good, but I wanted to make sure that was the case. The HVAC technician inspected the indoor unit, outdoor HVAC, smart thermostat and duct system. He noticed the duct system had some gaps, which required sealing as soon as possible. In addition, we had to switch the air filter for a HEPA filter which was much more effective.

I have been an event planner for many years now.

I don’t do things like weddings and parties; I work at an association and we put on events for our members on a regular basis. Because we live in Hot and humid state, there was always one rule. No events outside during the conference. Hotels love to offer free or cheap outdoor venues, but nothing will make people more miserable than having to be outside when it feels like it’s 98 Degrees. That rule is starting to go out the window however. Hotels and other venues are now coming up with modular special event facility Solutions. I live in a little townhouse development in the Southeast.

It gets really hot here oh, and stays pretty hot most of the year. We do have a few months where we don’t need to use the air conditioning as much as we do during the other parts of the year, but for the most part, this city is hot hot hot.I run my air conditioning all the time. Soon I will be able to turn it off at night, but I don’t know if I will because I have a dog who might decide to jump out the window if I open it. Anyway, I’m always looking for ways to save money on my utility bill. That is where my neighbor’s house comes into play. My neighbor’s house is inspiring me. Why? Because my neighbor has decided to get residential window tinting done on her townhouse. When I look at my neighbor’s house, the residential window film catches my eye. I think it looks fantastic! I don’t think it is considered decorative window film, but nonetheless, I certainly feel that it adds beauty to her home. I decided to ask her about it the other day. She said she got the home window tinting installations because she wanted to save money on her air conditioning invoice. She didn’t do it as decorative window film. She did it to save money. My husband told me he felt like he was on a witch hunt.

I had become obsessed with finding leather chairs to match my new leather couch.

I bought some chairs that coordinated with my new leather couch, but they weren’t the same. I knew I was going to find the leather chairs to match my sofa, but I had to be diligent and keep looking. I was online looking in every furniture store I could find. After almost two weeks, my husband came up with an idea. He asked if I had looked at the tags on the leather couch? I gave him a look that prompted him to continue. He said the manufacturer and possibly even the name of the furniture set could be on one of the tags. We tipped one of the sofas over, but we couldn’t find a tag. I then took off the cushions and looked at the lining. Sure enough I found some tags. I put all the numbers into a search, but I found nothing. I then called one of the local furniture stores to ask them for help. I told them what the leather couches looked like. They asked about tags and I gave them all the information I had found. He told me he might have something that I would like. I immediately got my husband into the car and told him where we were going. When we got to the furniture store, the salesman took us up to the third floor. He said this was their out-of-date furniture and there for quick sale. There was a leather chair that looked just like my leather couch, and a recliner. We bought the two chairs and the matching ottoman bench.

Two years ago, my brother Rick decided that he wanted to open a bee extermination company here in town.

At that point, there weren’t any bee removal businesses anywhere at all close to the area where we live.

He said that he knew that he would do well because there really was no competition at all for him anywhere around. After he did some market research on bee extermination, he found that there were lots of opportunities for him to make money and be helpful to the community with a bee removal business. It seems that yellow jackets, wasps, hornets, and other bees like the climate around here and there are lots of issues with them in our area. That’s especially true during the summertime, which is Rick’s busiest time of the year. This past summer, Rick was really profitable because he was busy doing bee extermination jobs literally all the time. Of course, he did a couple of honey bee relocations, too, but the main thing that he has to do is go and do bee eradications on pests like yellow jackets. I’m proud of Rick for doing so well in his bee extermination company. I have to admit that I had my doubts about it at first, but he’s making a lot of money getting rid of bees in our community. I am glad that he’s offering this service, because bee eradication and rescue was obviously something that we really needed around here. I hope that he keeps up the good work, because this seems like the best job that Rick has ever had.

I have a friend who is basically just somebody who likes to help in the community.

He volunteers at all sorts of events and he also teaches homeowners how to install ductless HVAC systems for free.

He is incredibly popular because of this because he has saved countless people a small fortune by skipping the professional HVAC installation. It was something I knew nothing about until I decided to go to one of his HVAC installation tutorials. He also has online videos so you can always pause the video and replay it as needed to learn critical installation techniques. He also shows people how to install different types of ductless mini splits and different makes. This is so people who are looking to install their own ductless mini split can be confident they are installing their particular make and model correctly. He only does these tutorials for HVAC systems that can be installed on your own. Some models you can do the installation but you still need to call an HVAC professional to charge refrigerant to the system. Other systems actually have precompressed refrigerants which makes the job possible without an HVAC professional. On the other hand, everybody has to learn how to do the electrical hookups. If you don’t feel comfortable working with the electric part of the installation, my friend tells people they can always hire a professional electrician to take care of the task. Electricity is severely dangerous and is life-threatening, so don’t ever feel less of a person because you want to be safe hiring a professional.

He was cursing up a storm and was saying how much that hurt.

I was extremely nervous when a good friend of mine asked if I could help him work on his HVAC system. He said it was something he did all the time so it wasn’t a huge deal. I asked him if he was not concerned about the warranty for the HVAC system. He laughed and said it was about 8 years old anyway and most warranties would only last around 10 years and then the HVAC would work depending on how often it was serviced. That made me feel a little bit better, but I still worried about him being a non-professional with this sort of work. I have heard that people have died from working on HVAC systems. Well, I was there just waiting for my buddy to tell me what I could do while he was opening the cabinet to the HVAC unit. He had a bunch of different tools ready and he seemed pretty serious. When he reached into the HVAC unit, there was a spark and he snapped his arm back and almost elbowed me. He was cursing up a storm and was saying how much that hurt. He said he was so stupid to forget to shut the power off to the HVAC unit. He said he usually does this work on his own and he supposed he was distracted with me being there. I told him not to blame me, he was the one who supposedly did this type of work all the time regardless of voiding the HVAC warranty. When he asked if I would still help, I told him there was no way I was going to continue watching him get himself killed or destroy his HVAC equipment.

I was pretty surprised when I first learned about dual-fuel HVAC systems.
