My brother called me the other day to ask me if he should repair his heating proposal or upgrade the whole thing, however I guess he thinks that since I work in the heating and cooling industry that I should be able to tell him exactly what to do, and the problem is, I do not honestly know how old his heating and cooling proposal actually is, however he moved into a home with an old heating and cooling proposal already installed in it.
They did not have much trouble with the HVAC proposal when they first moved in, however recently they have been having a lot of complications with the heating system, but since it’s winter and the weather is honestly cooling off outside, it’s not the greatest time for him to be having complications with his furnace.
I told him that he could go one of two ways with this. He could either upgrade the whole entire system, which is going to cost him quite a bit of money, or he can have it repaired. Since I do not live close to our brother, I can’t go out and maintain it for him free of charge or at a discount, he lives so far away that this kind of help for him just isn’t feasible. I wish that I could help him out more, even though I can’t honestly tell him all that much over the phone. In my opinion, I believe he should just go ahead and upgrade the whole HVAC system, however at least that way he will know what he has and how old it is. At least I can provide him with some recommendations on a new HVAC system.
