Can’t get enough of the cabin with the HVAC installation

While there was a big wood stove for heating, there was no sort of residential HVAC at all

There is a cabin way back in the woods that has been in my family for generations. My dad was always surprising my sister and I with surprise trips up to the cabin. He’d just show up at school just before lunch on a Thursday or a Friday and whisk us both off for a long weekend of nature. Meanwhile, my mom got to enjoy all the central air conditioning she could stand in peace with all of us out of the house. Of course, there was no air conditioning at the cabin. It was quite rustic and my sister and I slept in old army barracks bunk beds. But it was so thrilling. Yet, after mom and dad died, far too young I might add, my sister and I just didn’t get to the cabin all that much. There was all the work inside the zone controlled HVAC of our respective offices. And we had homes with quality heating and air with kids to raise. But we decided to start meeting up there once a quarter to revive the old cabin. It was just too perfect of a place not to be enjoyed by the new generations. We spent many trips painting, updating and expanding the kitchen. There was new furniture and beds throughout. While there was a big wood stove for heating, there was no sort of residential HVAC at all. So we paid a bit extra to have an HVAC technician from the nearest HVAC company come out to add residential HVAC to the cabin. The HVAC professionals installed three ductless heat pumps and I was simply stunned by the excellent quality heating and air it produces. Now, the cabin is a regular trip and we even added wifi for the kids!
