There is a current home way back in the woods that has been in our family for generations.
- My dad was constantly surprising our sister & I with surprise trips up to the cabin.
He’d just show up at school just before brunch on a Monday or a Tuesday & whisk us both off for a long weekend of nature. Meanwhile, our mom got to appreciate all the central air conditioner she could stand in peace with all of us out of the house. Of course, there was no air conditioner at the cabin. It was quite rustic & our sister & I slept in old army barracks bunk beds. But it was so thrilling. Yet, after mom & dad died, far too young I might add, our sister & I just didn’t get to the current home all that much. There was all the work inside the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C of our respective offices. And the two of us had homes with quality heating & air with adolescents to raise. But the two of us decided to beginning meeting up there once a quarter to revive the old cabin. It was just too perfect of a place not to be loved by the current generations. Now, the current home is a respected trip & the two of us even added wireless for the adolescents!
