Too hot to even imagine having no a/c

So the people I was with and I are to the halfway point of the summer. It’s September, it’s hot and steamy for sure but, we’re halfway there. In this area of the country, numerous weeks of blazing summer time heat are the cost of having the best weather the rest of the year. Literally, from September through May, this is the site to be as far as I’m nervous. I can’t get enough of those 8 weeks of perfect temps, orange skies and heaps of sunshine. Even the Winter time works for myself and others and I’m not a frosty weather guy at all. That has something to do with why I live here. Growing up in the north, I hated being trapped inside so much with the Heating and A/C heating keeping us warm. So when I had the chance, just out of university, to transport south and leave that gas oil furnace behind, I did it. And I’ve never looked back or regretted my decision for a sixth. However, when September rolls around each year, it’s easily a bit of a test. Thankfully, I can rely on enjoyable Heating and A/C cooling. I have new residential Heating and A/C with a heat pump that has a undoubtedly high SEER rating. That means I get about the best Heating and A/C efficiency there is. That helps myself and others keeps the cost of all this a/c manageable. Still, I just get so beat down by this point in the summer. The worst is in front of myself and others after just enduring numerous long weeks of high heat and humidity. Yet, I recognize that cooler days and night are coming. It won’t be too long before I can kneel outside in the sun and eat supper. Til then, I’ll just be thankful to have the best Heating and A/C cooling that keeps my house comfortable and dry.
