I’ve lived in some big cities in my life and they all seem to be loud and smelly. I really don’t like big cities anymore because of that and prefer to live by the sea in a small town. I was living in BCN on the Spanish coast but the thieves and drunks were too much for me to handle so I moved south about 45 minutes by train to a small town of only 25,000 people. I work at a cooling technology store part time and teach volleyball the rest of my time. It is a bit loud here right now as it is summer and a lot of those “citiots” come here from that big town and visit our cute little town. I don’t mind though because during the week it is quiet again and we can rest till the weekend comes around again. Also, in the winter a lot of local businesses are closed, except for the HVAC company I work at which specializes in heating equipment service during the winters. It all works out and then summer rolls around again for another round of tourists and beach fun. We sell a lot of mini split air conditioners and portable AC units in the summer, mainly to people coming in from other countries for the summer.
