I have been dabbling in meditation a bit more now as I am back to my quieter and slower life here overseas.
I didn’t have the time when I was visiting the states because there was just a lot more going on over there. I was doing a lot of driving and also a lot of HVAC equipment service and repairs as I am a certified HVAC specialist and my family often has me working on their units when I am back to visit. They pay me to do it so it works out great for all of us because they know me and probably pay me a bit more than they would pay a normal company because we are relatives. They know that besides doing HVAC system servicing I have been doing comedy and music for the past twenty years and it didn’t exactly make me a millionaire just yet. I just do it for the love of it and sometimes you have to starve to feed the world. Playing music feeds my soul and helps others, like the guy from the HVAC company who comes to listen, and that makes me feel even happier. I think if I practice a few more years on the drums I will be good enough to play in clubs and bars for money. We have a few local businesses interested in our music and if we get it together soon we will be able to play in some of them in the next few months. The winter season is coming and it will be good to play inside.
