After paying way too much for far too long, I decided to jump on the bandwagon and get a smart thermostat. Programmable thermostats, or smart thermostats – whatever you choose to call it – are all the rage in our town; Everybody has been wanting one. As a matter of fact, people have been flocking to get them so hastily that the heat and air conditioner company cannot keep up with the demand, however the thermostats are quite literally flying off the shelves. The moment they get them in stock they are gone, it doesn’t take long for them to be sold out. It has gotten so awful that there are absolutely lines that started to form. The reason that everybody is so eager to get their hands on these is because they are a great way to save energy, and all the cool people have in there so of course everybody wants one. A smart thermostat is not only more convenient, but it is the future, it is current technology, and who would not want that over the old stuff? It took myself and others a couple weeks but I was finally able to get our hands online, but let myself and others tell you now I have one I could never go back to having an original thermostat. I cannot get over the convenience of being able to control the temperature of our home from anywhere. That’s pretty amazing technology if you ask me.
