My buddy is a pretty nice guy. My husbandy & I have lived across the street from him for the past 20 years. I watched the guys’ kids grow up & get married & then come back with grandchildren. It’s absolutely been something amazing to see the family grow & change. When his husbandy died last year, our husbandy & I lended all the assistance that we could. We wanted to do anything we could to help Howard at the hard time. One of the greatest complications at the time was the central AC in the house. The Wake was supposed to be held at Howard’s location, despite the fact that he knew that the apartment was going to be too boiling & humid for all the people to be comfortable. I told Howard not to worry about a thing & I grabbed a crew from the Heating & Air Conditioning store & I went back to Howard’s location to work on the a/c. I was truthfully glad to help out our neighbor. My husbandy & I were anxious when Howard moved away last year. His family decided to put him in an assisted residing facility. Howard was having a visiting doctor 3 times a week, however it absolutely wasn’t enough to help. Eventually his child & child decided to intervene. They gave to take him to live with one of them, despite the fact that he did not want to leave the location where his husbandy was buried. He moved to an assisted residing facility across the street from the cemetery. My husbandy & I still have openings every once in a while to visit with Howard & that is a benefit of having the guy close.
