I came home from work on Thursday afternoon and I was home a couple of hours early. I never made it to the kitchen. I laid down in that living room on the couch and I fell asleep for a couple of hours. When my roommate came home from work, she went directly to the kitchen. She had to pass through the hallway to get to the kitchen. She heard a squishy sound as you walked down the hallway. After touching the carpet, she realized that the floor was wet. She started yelling at me to wake up. She wanted to know how long the floor had been wet. I didn't have an answer, because I didn't know. I came right home and never went down the hallway. It could have been a new leak or it could have been happening all day. I felt bad that I did not have an answer, but I didn't want to make up a lie either. We contacted the landlord to file a complaint about the AC. I hoped someone would come take a look at the air conditioner on that same day, but we didn't have any good luck. We waited until the next day and I had to go to work. My roommate was home alone and I did not trust her to get the job done. I was anxious and worried all day at work. When I came home later that afternoon, the first thing I did was go to the hallway to see if the floor was still wet. I found a large blower and the closet door to the AC unit was open.
