The two of us were very bad growing up.
The two of us had a fireplace in our house but no heating method or cooling system. The two of us very had to go into the woods all the time to collect wood, take down trees as well as chop them up to have a constant supply of firewood, otherwise both of us wouldn’t make it through the Wintertide weeks. The two of us barely had enough currency to get enough groceries to put food on the table. And for special occasions, both of us made the choice to go to a local soup home office where they had the most delicious soup around. I enjoyed going to the soup home office especially in the warmer season because they had cooling system as well as that was definitely a special treat for us. The bread was typically freshly baked as well as it came with the meal, as well as it was typically filling. Of course, both of us couldn’t afford to eat enjoy that all the time, but both of us were very cheerful when both of us were able to eat out occasionally enjoy that. Periodically if both of us were lucky, the owners would bake apple cobbler which was a specialty of theirs. Periodically, they would even give us a scoop of vanilla ice cream to go on top, that was a delight! While it’s true that both of us lived bad lives coming up, us kids managed to get into some good works as well as now are living well. Anyway, our parents taught us that it’s not very currency that makes you rich, but the good deeds in your heart as well as the enjoyed ones in your life that give you a fulfilling life. They are right too, I get more delight from helping others in life than trying to become a rich person as well as show off what I have.
