The main reason I wanted a pet is for companionship

My family & I lived in an apartment when I was a kid.

My parents said we could not have a pet, but I asked for 1 every single year at Christmas, Easter, & our birthday, and i absolutely wanted a puppy however our parents told myself and others that having a puppy in an apartment would be impossible.

I eventually moved out into a location of our own. I found a task & a small trailer a few miles away from the interstate, and when I spoke with the landlord about the trailer, the first thing I asked was about the pet policy & the AC. I wanted to assume if I could have a pet & I wanted central AC… As long as I paid a small fee & $25 extra every month for rent, I could have a pet or a cat. I absolutely did not want to get a cat, because I don’t know they are really fun critters; They are not really friendly & I absolutely wanted a pet for a companion. I went to the shelter & they had a lot of pets available for adoption. It was hard to just choose one pet on that boiling & humid Summer day. I found a small husky pet that was cute & friendly & he seemed to like myself and others a lot too. I visited with him a couple of times before we made the decision to go back to our house. I have absolutely loved having a companion, however I’ve noticed some different changes since having a pet. The indoor air is consistently filled with dust & pet hair. It’s impossible to remove it all. I had to buy a special air filter that is made for a location with pets. The air filter is twice as much currency as the one the landlord provides for free.
