I love being a dog owner.
I will admit, I am a little crazy when it comes to my cat, then he lived on the streets for a few years before I found him and adopted him.
So I assume my sweet prince gained a little spoiling. He has a scratch post, a triangle shaped scratcher and a lounger he can kneel on and scratch. I have a wall mounted dog tree that he can sleep and play on. I also have a recliner with a special fabric that my dog just loves. The big chair is only for my sweet kitty. He has the top of the line dog litter that doesn’t create dust or fumes. I also got him a purified water system and the best dog food currency could buy. My dog is such a monster since he gets 12 treats a morning. I have all unusual flavors that I dole out throughout the morning! Probably the most crazy thing I have ever done was get a up-to-date gas furnace though. In fairness, my central furnace wasn’t all that nice and about to die. When the furnace clicked on and off, it scared my cat. He would run and hide under the bed. I couldn’t have that. I wanted up-to-date flooring in the house anyway. I removed the old rug and got up-to-date granite laid down. In the process I had heated flooring added, and now my furnace is under my feet and where my sweet dog is. The heat is electric based so that means no noise when it turns on. It also doesn’t waste energy rising to the ceiling and there are no cold spots, then anything touching the floor feels warm as a result. My dog just loves the up-to-date addition to our home.
