Many people love the winter season, and it’s my favorite as well.
It’s a widely beloved season, captured in movies and songs everywhere, as it represents a time of joy and celebration almost worldwide.
I love to relax during the winter time, and I mainly spend my time relaxing at home and watching Hallmark movies of questionable taste. If that manages to lose my interest somehow, I’ll amuse myself by reading a good book, or maybe by spending some time with friends. Typically, I don’t even notice the comfort that my heating system is bringing me, and I tend to take it for granted in a horrible way. After this experience, though, I doubt I will ever repeat that mistake. You see, I’d made the mistake (many weeks prior to the beginning of winter) of forgetting to schedule a maintenance appointment with my local HVAC provider to check up on my heating system. I’m not sure how, but it had completely slipped my mind! When I woke up one morning to a frigid, practically frozen house, I suddenly remembered what I’d done. I knew then and there that my heater had broken on me, and that I had to do something quickly if I wanted to enjoy the winter at all. Of course, I did the logical thing, and contacted my local HVAC technician to schedule a heater repair ASAP. Thankfully I got an appointment for a fairly soon date, and I could gain some measure of comfort by wrapping up in blankets and covering my windows with thick curtains. When my heater was repaired, though, it was clear that my HVAC technician had saved my winter.
