Last year was actually crazy! I was at work on a normal Wednesday day, when I heard a terrible commotion coming from down the hall.
I left our work cubicle in addition to following the loud noise.
It turns out someone had accidentally let a stinky skunk in the company building! People were panicking in addition to trying their very best not to spook the skunk for the fear that it would spray. My boss eventually caught and trapped the skunk with a box, however that scared the stinky skunk in addition to being sprayed everywhere! Watching our boss wrestle a skunk on the white floor while getting sprayed was a sight to behold. My coworkers were still very much panicking in the background. In addition it was just madness, looking back at the incident, now it’s hilarious, however not so much then. All of us had to finally evacuate the building in addition to going to the beach house for the rest of the day. My boss never odored quite the same after that. That was a whole month ago, in addition to ever since our boss has been utterly and totally obsessed with company cleaning services. He actually has janitorial firms come out twice a month for a great cleaning. I’m sure the office cleaning companies will be able to guess his number by heart by now. On the bright side the office deep cleanings make sure our work environment is respectfully cleaned which makes myself and others work a lot better in such a clean work setting, then sadly, even with all of the cleaning products they’ve used, there is still a faint but stinky skunk odor left behind, much to our boss’ unhappiness. I don’t guess if they’re ever going to finally be able to get rid of that odor.
