Years worth of grime in the ductwork

Usually I do a full as well as deep cleaning of my cabin once or twice a year.

Some people call it Springtime Cleaning, but I don’t have a set time of the year to do it, just when the mood strikes me.

This year was a little different, because I had absolutely skipped doing it last year. With all the extra time I had due to the pandemic, I could have absolutely found the time, but I spent about 18 months feeling lethargic so it never happened. After over 2 years of building, I found that my cabin was a filthy mess, everywhere from the baseboards to the air vents. The air vents were so dirty that I got my tools to detach them absolutely as well as blast them with the hose in the front yard. Once they were off, I had my first clear view into the ductwork of the house, as well as it was only then I realized how dirty they had gotten. In all my years, in all the places I had lived, I had never gotten my ductwork cleaned before. Seeing firsthand how much grime, dust, as well as hair can build up in an ductwork over the years is a sobering as well as startling sight. I knew that left to my own devices I could never get the ductwork respectfully cleaned myself, I had to call for some professional help. Since I was having an Heating as well as A/C tech come to the cabin anyway, I thought it would be a good plan to get a full inspection of the system as well as see if there was anything else I had overlooked.
