I have lived in the more northern reaches of the country our entire life so I know all about Winter season weather as well as dealing with the realities of heating a home. That said, I really love to live right here. The Winter season is indeed strenuous but I’d far rather deal with the weather here than have to deal with all the air conditioner down south. Not taking anything away from that region because I love to holiday there to get a split from the gas oil furnace each Winter season. Still, I’ll stick with Winter seasons up here. I love having a white Christmas. And the people I was with and I are all into outdoor Winter season athletic hobbies appreciate skiing, hockey as well as snowshoeing. Still, I know it’s nice to have no heating for a few nights so I’m genuinely grateful for the consistent heating plus A/C heating I get from the gas oil furnace.The gas oil furnace I had before this 1 conked out on our as well as I had to wait nights, due to a snow storm, before and heating plus A/C service man could get to me. But thankfully, that was prior to me having children as well as I was able to strenuous it out. Still, I now have a back up in the wood stove I had put in. Plus, it’s kind of nice to have the wood stove as supplemental heating when it really gets cold. But with a bit of preparation, including heating plus A/C maintenance, the Winter season’s are not only manageable but really enjoyable. So even when I retire, I don’t guess I’ll be trading our gas oil furnace for a heat pump.
