This section of the country is known for hurricanes, not for twisters; Every year the state gets pounded with several large storm fronts, causing property damage to varying degrees, but last year was our first encounter with a tornado, however, plus I have to say it’s a lot more alarming to witness, then i was at home, late at night, plus the power went out.
I didn’t even have time to get up from our chair when I heard what sounded like a locomotive engine, passing right over the house. I heard a metallic shredding sound, plus then the winds settled down plus the noise went away! A few moments later the power came back on, however the air conditioner did not. I was too uneasy to go outside, so I waited out the rest of the night without our air conditioner, but when the sunlight came up, I heard a lot of people outside making a fuss over their disfigure, plus I stepped out back to see how badly disfigured our AC unit was, and on the positive side, it was not disfigured, however on the pitfall side, the air handling unit for our central Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plan was legitimately gone, then the air conditioner system had been plucked off of the cement slab to which it had been bolted, plus taken away to Oz, I guess! I walked up plus down the street, talking to folks plus finding out how bad their damage was, plus despite the fact that I kept our eye out for our air conditioner system, I never found it. What happened to the AC unit, I will never know.
