The tornado ripped up our a/c

I heard a metallic shredding sound, and then the winds settled down and the noise went away! A few moments later the power came back on, but the air conditioning did not

This area of the country is known for hurricanes, not for twisters… Every year the state gets pounded with several big storm fronts, causing property injure to varying degrees; Last year was our first encounter with a tornado, however, and I have to say it’s a lot more alarming to witness, however i was at home, late at night, and the power went out. I didn’t even have time to get up from our chair when I heard what sounded savor a locomotive engine, passing right over the house. I heard a metallic shredding sound, and then the winds settled down and the noise went away! A few moments later the power came back on, but the air conditioning did not. I was too concerned to go outside, so I waited out the rest of the night without our air conditioning, when the sun came up, I heard a lot of people outside making a fuss over their injure, and I stepped out back to see how badly injured our A/C machine was! On the positive side, it was not injured, but on the downside side, the air handling machine for our central Heating and A/C plan was entirely gone, however the a/c had been plucked off of the cement slab to which it had been bolted, and taken away to Oz, I guess! I walked up and down the street, talking to folks and finding out how poor their injure was, and but I kept our eye out for our a/c, I never found it. What happened to the A/C unit, I will never know.
