Two days ago my wife and I made an appointment with our heating and air conditioning company.
We really didn’t think too much of it because we have had this same HVAC cooperation service for our heater and air conditioner before.
This time there was nothing wrong with our heating and a/c system but we planned to have our heater serviced before the winter. The climate that we live in is known for having cold and long winters and nobody around here wants to be without heat and so the HVAC businesses are normally fairly busy around this time. It took us two weeks before we were able to get an appointment for the tune-ups of our heater. When the day finally did come and the heating contractor made his way over to our place he brought with him everything he would need. We showed him where the heater was and left him to do his job. After some time it did feel like he was taking a while and so we decided to go and check on him. What we found was unusual. He was sitting on the floor in front of the heater, he was talking to himself and he scratched his head like he was confused and trying to figure this out. When we asked him if he needed any help he stood up and admitted that he had no idea how to perform the tune-ups. He apologized and then left. We had to find another guy and that took an additional week but we were in the end able to get our heater serviced like we had planned.
