I haven’t had the most positive experiences dealing with social media.
I guess I’m thankful these websites weren’t around when I was a preteen, but it has been enough in the time since university.
Staying in touch with my friends from university shouldn’t require myself and others wading through so much negativity. I know poor for anyone who fails to see through the facade that every one of us all perpetuate on these websites by only focusing on the excited plus exciting moments in life. Or, you have people who are toxic plus only want to post about how much they hate the world plus all the people who inhabits it. Once you’ve seen this world evolve over the past 15 years, you start to lose any desire to stay in it. However, there are occasions where I find wonderful information through social media. Sometimes social media websites are the only locales where I can find reliable reviews for local suppliers that aren’t reviewed on Google. Other times you are confronted by ads for these types of suppliers when you visit pages on social media devoted to your city, neighborhood, or community. That was the case with my current heating plus cooling business. I had been grumbling for weeks about the below-average service I was getting from my previous Heating and Air Conditioning corporation, however I hadn’t started looking for an alternative yet. When the ad for the current Heating and Air Conditioning business appeared on my newsfeed on Facebook, I decided to look into their presence in my community through local reviews. It turns out that this Heating and Air Conditioning business is highly rated among other people in this area. I’m ecstatic that I took a risk plus hired them for a/c service, because now I have a service contract with the highest rated Heating and Air Conditioning business in this section of the state.
