The heat pump stopped working in winter

I didn’t even realize how close it was to winter until I started searching for my warm clothes.

It’s like I went to work in the morning and was so chilly by the time I got home.

I went through my closet and got out my coats and scarves. I had been provided with the biggest opportunity of my life at work. My employer trusted me with a new account from a demanding client. She wanted her country home renovated and had a limitless budget. We held meetings every day to ensure that every item we added or took out of the house was standard. At the end of each day, I felt worn out but knew this was the experience I needed before setting up my business. By the time winter came, I was already done with the bulk of the work, and we were adding some finishing touches. I drove to the store one afternoon then got home to realize my heat pump had stopped working. It wasn’t possible to stay without the heating unit in our area, so I had to get it fixed. I called Earl, who is a qualified AC technician who lives near me, for help. He told me he was out at another job and would pass by my house to inspect the heat pump in an hour. Earl was at my door at the set time and noticed the issue was my old thermostat. He replaced it with a smart thermostat and helped me download the proper app to control the new device. Earl bid me goodbye and informed me he’d send the heat pump repair bill via email later.
