I was so hoping that our four year old daughter would have a wonderful time during her birthday.
We rented a bounce house for the kids to have a great time.
We also set up a nice tent and rented a powerful cooling system from a local HVAC rental company. This was so that everybody would not be going in and out of the house and causing our HVAC system to struggle immensely. Of course, people could always go in to use the bathroom, but I told everybody to please remain outside unless they were going to do that. I didn’t even want anybody to eat food inside the house to be honest because when you’re opening and shutting the door constantly, all that A/C gets out of the house. Everything was going pretty well I thought until the clown we hired was giving balloons to the children. Our daughter was having a great time watching the clown make all kinds of crazy balloon shapes. Our daughter wanted to carry a regular helium filled balloon because she liked how it floated. We were carrying it around when she wanted to get some ice cream. When she grabbed her ice cream cone, that’s when she lost her balloon. It floated up in the air and she started screaming! We tried to give her another balloon, but she said she wanted that one, the one that was floating away. It was the only pink balloon for some reason and she wouldn’t take any other color. I had to run to the store to pick up pink balloons and brought her back one so she would be happy again. Aside from that, the party wasn’t too bad.
