My wife and I already made plans to go to our favorite restaurant on the weekend, the place that has a really nice fireplace we prefer to relax next to.

The HVAC was making all kinds of scary noises and I called up the HVAC company right away. The HVAC professional who came out said it was not a good situation and our HVAC was heading quickly towards the end of its life. I just wanted to pay for the repairs and then think about the nice romantic weekend I was going to have with my wife. Well, sadly the HVAC repair cost way more money than I anticipated. It was so much money that I had to talk to my wife about doing something else instead of going for our romantic dinner date. It was a very expensive restaurant that we rarely went to. I thought everything was going to be great, but not after that unexpected and terribly costly HVAC expense. I realized that the HVAC professional was right, we had to save up enough money to go for a new HVAC system because the next repair we would be facing might be just as expensive or even more costly. My wife was quite understanding and she didn’t give me a hard time about having to cancel our dinner plans. Instead, I made her one of my specialties; cooked ribs, beans & rice, and my special homemade BBQ sauce. My wife said she would have preferred my cooking over the restaurant anyday.
