However, they needed a new plan to spend more time as a couple. Daniel and Mercy were both busy with work and the boys. All the strain was impacting their marriage, but they didn’t want to separate. That’s why Daniel arranged a lovely vacation for Mercy a month ago. Daniel agreed with his mom-in-law about the plan and asked her to come to stay with the boys for two weeks. Daniel knew Mercy was going on leave and he did the same. The idea was to travel for a few days to a luxury resort Mercy had been talking about for so long. The resort was quite high-priced and had a top-notch spa. Daniel facilitated the bookings and surprised Mercy with the reservations last minute when her mom showed up at their front door. Mercy was overjoyed and packed faster than she’d ever done before. Mercy and Daniel flew to the resort, checked in, and were shown to their room. As the happy couple were unpacking, Daniel realized the area wasn’t cool. That was bad since it was sizzling outside, and they wanted a better air conditioning unit. Daniel tried working the thermostat, which had an error message on it. He tried the phone and spoke to someone about the faulty air con system.
