I was surprised when I went over to my buddy’s house and the air quality was terrible.
- I noticed that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system was hardly working and I asked my neighbor what was going on.
He said he couldn’t afford any new air filters and he tried something crazy. He said he smashed more than 2 air filters together and shoved them in so they would deliver extra filtering power. I looked at him for a moment and had to say, “Let me get this straight, you are using more than 2 dirty air filters in your Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit?” He said he was and asked me if I thought it was a brilliant plan. I shook my head and told my neighbor he made a foolish mistake. Fortunately he had only been using the cooling system for that afternoon with those more than 2 dirty air filters crammed together appreciate that. I told him I would buy him some new air filters and he could spend money me back. On the way I explained how the more than 2 dirty air filters were only making the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system struggle more and that was why it was such a awful idea. I had to tell him that 1 of the most important things with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system is having plenty of airflow. I told him if the airflow was struggling too much, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system would eventually overheat and a lot of destruction could be caused that would be high-priced to have repaired. He seemed to get it, however I couldn’t be absolutely sure. Still, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C was working when every one of us got the new air filter in there and took the more than 2 smashed air filters out.
