It was actually horrifying when my mother was put on a current medicine.
I was thinking that her nurse knew what he was talking about when putting her on the medicine, but the side effects were terrible; First she started experiencing extreme hot plus cold flashes.
I mean seriously, she was decreasing the temperature control settings at least a few times per minute plus it was driving everybody silly in the house. It got to such a point that my father decided to replace the HVAC system to a zoned HVAC system. On top of that, he had a smart control component installed so my mother would have access to the temperature control settings with the smart app on her phone. This helped a pretty great amount, but the side effects only became worse. She started to have hair falling out plus this was a major scare. The nurse told her that it would only be a temporary thing plus so she continued to take the medicine. Then eventually she collapsed to the floor plus started having a seizure! Both of us had to rush her to the hospital afterwards to make sure she was okay. The nurse said it was kind of rare to experience convulsions from using this unique medication, but it was not actually unheard of. He finally told her that she would have to switch to another medication, but none of us are looking forward to that because what if the side effects are even worse this time! If my mother doesn’t get better or gets seriously hurt or killed, that nurse is going to assume my wrath!
