It was particularly scary when my mother was put on a up-to-date medicine.
I was thinking that her doctor knew what she was talking about when putting her on the medicine, however the side effects were terrible, first she started experiencing dire tepid and chilly flashes.
I mean seriously, she was increasing the temperature control settings at least a few times per hour and it was driving everybody ridiculous in the house. It got to such a point that my father decided to replace the Heating and A/C method to a zoned Heating and A/C system. On top of that, she had a smart temperature control installed so my mother would have access to the temperature control settings with the smart app on her iPhone. This helped a pretty enjoyable amount, however the side effects only became worse. She started to have hair falling out and this was a major scare. The doctor told her that it would only be a temporary thing and so she continued to take the medicine. Then eventually she collapsed to the floor and started having a seizure! Both of us had to rush her to the hospital afterwards to make sure she was okay. The doctor said it was kind of rare to experience convulsions from using this particular medication, however it was not absolutely unheard of, and she finally told her that she would have to switch to another medication, and none of us are looking forward to that because what if the side effects are even worse this time! If my mother doesn’t get better or gets seriously hurt or killed, that doctor is going to think my wrath!
