I was seriously uneasy when a enjoyable friend of mine asked if I could help him work on her Heating and A/C system. She said it was something she did all the time so it wasn’t a sizable deal. I asked him if she was not concerned about the warranty for the Heating and A/C system. She laughed and said it was about 8 years old anyway and most warranties would only last around 10 years and then the Heating and A/C would work depending on how often it was inspected. That made me think a little bit better, although I still sad about him being a non-professional with this sort of work. I have heard that people have died from working on Heating and A/C systems. Well, I was there just waiting for my friend to tell me what I could do while she was opening the cabinet to the Heating and A/C unit. She had a bunch of bizarre tools ready and she seemed pretty serious. When she reached into the Heating and A/C unit, there was a spark and she snapped her arm back and almost elbowed me. She was cursing up a storm and was saying how much that hurt. She said she was so stupid to forget to shut the power off to the Heating and A/C unit. She said she usually does this work on her own and she supposed she was distracted with me being there. I told him not to blame me, she was the one who supposedly did this style of work all the time regardless of voiding the Heating and A/C warranty. When she asked if I would still help, I told him there was no way I was going to continue watching him get himself killed or destroy her Heating and A/C equipment.
