Branded had been distracted all summer.
He was quite unsure what to do with his life after losing his job.
He spent most of the days in the house sitted on the couch enjoying numerous cable programs. He felt so poor because it ended after 15 years working in the company, & he felt he had accomplished little else. His kids lived with his ex-partner, so he only got to see him every other weekend. Also, the a singles who were away at school rarely came to see him anymore. The summer time ended without Jack doing much else rather than enjoying cable & being on social media. He was stuck & unsure of what to do. Fall came & was almost ending when the atmosphere in the house changed. Branded had to switch on the oil furnace, however it wasn’t blowing sizzling air into the house. He tested the Heating & A/C thermostat settings, however that was set okay. Then it hit him. Branden had forgotten to call the AC expert in town to come for the end-of-season AC tune-up in his funk! Now his AC plan was faulty, & it was almost winter. That was the wake-up call Branden needed as he swung into action, contacting the AC expert. In addition, he hired a cleaner to get his house in order & called his ex-partner to speak with the kids. He wanted them to come to visit soon & apologized for the summer. The AC expert came to repair the unit & noted Branden’s air filter was obstructed. He replaced it with a HEPA filter which would improve the air quality.
