We continued fighting with my siblings but about different sibling stuff.
My parents had invested in the house we grew up in. They had built the house to their liking and it was nothing short of amazing. It was huge and perfect for our 7 person family. We each had our rooms which were also ensuite. When it came to the heating and cooling unit, they had opted to go for a heat pump. with a smart temperature control device. After some time, we noticed that the temperature in the rooms upstairs was cooler than the rest of the house. Growing up with my siblings we would fight over the thermostat since the temperature was never stabilized. After speaking to my uncle who is also an HVAC tech, my parents contacted the HVAC provider and ordered an HVAC zone control. This stopped the fights since now the house was split into zones. As the HVAC installation was happening, the HVAC professional happened to mention to my dad about an air purification system. Dad had bad allergies and such a system would really help ease the allergies. The air purifier would help improve the air quality within the house. This would also improve the health of everyone at the house. The homeowner solution pamphlet indicated that to maintain the air quality systems, we would schedule air duct cleaning at least every one to two years. Duct cleaning would also help promote indoor comfort because of clean HVAC ducts and with children, this would be great for our health. We continued fighting with my siblings but about different sibling stuff. My mom was always trying to separate us from knocking each other down. As much as we fought, we loved each other. I must admit, it was an amazing childhood.
