Construction project necessitates heating/cooling service

There’s always a movie on surfaces in every room

My hubby & I are involved in a major remodeling project. All of us have entirely gutted the laundry room & family lavatory down to the bare studs & floor joists. The job has generated a tremendous amount of dust & debris. All of us have rented a dumpster & it’s nearly full of pieces of drywall, ancient insulation, plumbing pipes & fixtures. Before the people I was with and I began renovations, the people I was with and I took the time to carefully seal the supply & return vents linked to the air duct & heating/cooling system. Our oil furnace & cooling system are fairly current & were big investments. All of us spent extra on top quality, high-efficiency component to ensure lower energy bills and ideal year round comfort. In order to keep the oil furnace & cooling system operating reliably for as long as possible, the people I was with and I take nice care of the equipment. All of us replace air filters every month & schedule annual professional service. The dust & airborne contaminants caused by our construction project could cause some major complications with restricted airflow through the ducts, air quality & wear & tear on the heating & cooling system. All of us used plastic sheeting to block off the laundry room & lavatory from the rest of the house, hoping to contain the mess. However, I’ve noticed that our entire apartment is dusty. There’s always a movie on surfaces in every room. I’m now worried that despite all of our precautions, the oil furnace & cooling system are at risk. I am reluctant to run the cooling system despite the high temperatures outside. I think the people I was with and I need to just open the windows for ventilation & schedule professional cleaning of both the heating & cooling idea as soon as this project is completed.
