Construction project necessitates heating/cooling maintenance

My fiance in addition to I are involved in a major remodeling project.

Both of us have absolutely gutted the laundry room in addition to family bathroom down to the bare studs in addition to floor joists.

The job has generated a tremendous amount of dust in addition to debris. Both of us have rented a dumpster in addition to it’s nearly full of pieces of drywall, ancient insulation, plumbing pipes in addition to fixtures. Before we began renovations, we took the time to carefully seal the supply in addition to return vents connected to the HVAC duct in addition to heating/cooling system. Our gas furnace in addition to air conditioner are fairly current in addition to were giant investments. Both of us spent extra on top quality, high-efficiency equipment to ensure lower monthly bills in addition to ideal year round comfort. In order to keep the gas furnace in addition to air conditioner operating reliably for as long as possible, we take good care of the equipment. Both of us substitute air filters every month in addition to schedule annual professional maintenance. The dust in addition to airborne contaminants caused by our construction project could cause some major troubles with restricted airflow through the ducts, air quality in addition to wear in addition to tear on the heating in addition to cooling system. Both of us used plastic sheeting to block off the laundry room in addition to bathroom from the rest of the house, hoping to contain the mess. However, I’ve observed that my entire house is dusty. There’s consistently a movie on surfaces in every room. I’m now distraught that despite all of our precautions, the gas furnace in addition to air conditioner are at risk. I am reluctant to run the air conditioner despite the high temperatures outside. I think we need to just open the windows for ventilation in addition to schedule professional cleaning of both the heating in addition to cooling system as soon as this project is completed.
