I made a friend with a HVAC technician named Tom and I didn’t even know it. If you’re wondering how that is, it is because we first met when we were kids. We met on the playground way back in elementary school, we were both the same age at the time, only 8 years old. It didn’t take us long before we became the best of friends. We would play outside everyday together and stay over at each other’s houses and help each other with our homework. Our friendship never ceased and we stayed friends all through highschool and college. We were lucky enough to stay in the same town, I had many other friends who eventually moved away and we lost touch over the years. As we got older our lives got busier and we didn’t get to spend as much time together as we did when we were kids, in time we both got married and had successful careers. Tom’s wife has already given him his first child and he is busier than ever with his new baby and his career as a HVAC technician. The great thing about him working as a heating and cooling tech is that he gives great discounts to all of his friends and family and so anytime I need any heating and a/c work done, I make sure he is my HVAC repair guy. It really is a win-win because we get to see each other again and hang out for a while and that is always fun and I save a lot of money on heating and cooling work.
