It is time for a gas furnace tune-up

I am pretty sure that our gas furnace needs a tune-up.

Last year it was running just fine.

In fact, it kept us nice and toasty warm all Winter time long. Of course the people I was with and I haven’t used it since May though. In May, May, and occasionally June the people I was with and I don’t need any Heating and Air Conditioning at all. The two of us just open the windows when it is boiling and close the windows if it’s cold. This aged house has absolutely nice isolation and it holds on to hot and cold temperatures absolutely well, but june until September the people I was with and I usually run the air conditioning component almost nonstop. It gets absolutely boiling in the summer time around here. And, again, the people I was with and I had no issues with our air conditioning this year. In September and September the people I was with and I can usually get away with no Heating and Air Conditioning once again, but fresh air is nice enough. Come September, it is time to start using the gas furnace again. It gets absolutely cold in this area. I turned the gas furnace on in early September, as usual, and I noticed that it was making a strange whining sound after it turned off. So it would kick on, labor fine, then kick off and make this strange sound. It repeated almost every time. I didn’t bother with it any and now I have noticed that the gas furnace almost never kicks off anymore. It is almost always running. So I’m looking to get a gas furnace turn-up done. I am sure that the servicemans will be able to repair it for us and set everything right again. At least, I hope they can. It is still a few more months until May so the people I was with and I absolutely do need a toiling heater.
