The elderly benefit from a new air purifier donated by the mayor

Besides receiving the right temperatures, retirement homes also need to have fresh clean air to reduce the outbreak of diseases as well as keep the lungs of the elderly functioning well.

I loved volunteering at the retirement home in my city. There was a lady called Mrs. Gladys who always made my day with her dark humor. She always greeted me by saying, “It’s a great day to be great!” and added a huge smile. She always made my day. Besides volunteering to care for the elderly, I also volunteered as their handyman. I had helped with the a/c set up of the mini split air conditioner that I knew was energy-saving and worked well to serve every one of their temperature needs. The temperatures at the home could at times get too hot and so with the help of the county government, we had purchased cooling products with specialized cooling technology from the air conditioning supplier. When performing the a/c care program, I noted that the hybrid HVAC system that was fitted in the west wing of the home was a bit old but functioned well all the same. On seniors day, the mayor donated to the home for the installation of an air purifier which greatly improved the air quality around the home. The donation was enough to choose the best of the HVAC brands with a changeable AC filter for whole home air purification. The management was also advised to ensure that the planned well heating and cooling service on the unit so that would last longer. The technicians pointed out that home services ensure the constant flow of clean fresh air and the right temperatures throughout the home. Mrs. Gladys was excited and showered the mayor with praises.
