Arrest warrant for HVAC professional who stole heating and cooling units

I love catching up with the latest news on the web when I have some free time. Normally I just browse through the latest new section to see what is interesting! In particular, I go over athletic activities, education and home improvement stories! Last week, this one story I came across under home improvement was baffling to say the least. It wasn’t much about the nature of the story but rather, the person involved. Carl is quite a reserved introvert. You can never be sure what is going on through his mind, he lives with his family a few gates away from us. This afternoon the police were at his door, taking him away, everyone wondered what was going on, until his task supervisor explained it to a few neighbours. Apparently, there was a search warrant issued for his arrest after he stole new heating units from his employer. It wasn’t a single time thing, he has been carrying away heating devices and cooling techs for a while. He was found to have stolen a heater, oil furnace, heat pump, dual fuel method parts, section oil furnaces and zoned heating and A/C method maintenance parts. The transition stage between his old supervisor and the new one left a loophole that he exploited together with his colleague. He was a field serviceman performing duct sealing, servicing radiant floors and a/c method in general. His arrest inspired me to learn more about a/c and understand what a heating and cooling contractor does. Since his arrest, he has not been home in ages, especially since his story appeared in the local news. His family eventually moved out of the neighbourhood out of embarrassment.
