Never power the hater with an extension cord or power strip, ensure that the gas furnace is localed on a stable, level surface,and situated where it will not be knocked over. When purchasing, always ask the salesperson whether the gas furnace has been safety certified. Never run the heater’s cord under rugs or carpeting because it could damage the cord and cause burning; Lastly, to prevent electrical shocks and electrocutions, always keep electric gas furnaces away from water and never touch an electric gas furnace if you are wet.
