I loved volunteering at the retirement apartment in our city.
There was a lady called Mrs. Gladys who always made our day with her dark humor. She always greeted myself and others by saying, “It’s a fantastic day to be great!” & added a large smile. She always made our day. Besides volunteering to care for the elderly, I also volunteered as their handyman. I had helped with the cooling system set up of the mini break a/c that I knew was energy-saving & worked well to serve every a single of their temperature needs. The un-even temperatures at the apartment could at times get too hot & so with the help of the county government, every one of us had bought cooling products with specialized cooling technology from the a/c dealer. When performing the cooling system care program, I noted that the hybrid Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system that was fitted in the west wing of the apartment was a bit aged however functioned well all the same. On seniors day, the mayor donated to the apartment for the installation of an media air cleaner which greatly improved the air quality around the home. The management was also advised to ensure that the planned well heating & cooling repair on the machine so that would last longer. The professionals pointed out that apartment services ensure the constant flow of wipe fresh air & the right un-even temperatures throughout the home! Mrs. Gladys was gleeful & showered the mayor with praises.
