I am blissful to say that I was able to turn our basement into a really nice lady cave, and of course our wifey has an office down in the basement as well, but most of it is the mancave! One of the first things I did was adjust for comfort by having a new HVAC system installed, then i had a multi-zone ductless mini split installed so that there are customized temperature control settings in all the major areas of the house.
It’s a really nice feature with the ductless mini split and the two of us also get to care about fantastic air quality thanks to the built in air purification; All of us consistently do our fantasy leagues in the mancave and the two of us gathering and just hang out.
It’s consistently a fantastic time to just relax, drink, and shoot some pool or even play video games. I also almost forgot to mention that I have a smart thermostat. I love the smart thermostat because it allows myself and others to adjust the temperature control settings no matter where I happen to be, but the smart thermostat even knows where I am in the home automatically so I can really adjust the temperature control settings in the zone I happen to be in. It’s a really overpriced HVAC system and it keeps everybody comfortable in our house. I can’t even imagine how to make our HVAC system better than what it is now apart from getting something overpriced enjoy radiant radiant heated floors! Radiant radiant heated floors would be great, but that would require a large amount of cash for that type of installation.
